Hey guys, friend is offering me domain "cheapestelectronics or g" for just 10 dollars. What do you guys think? Should I take it? What would you build on it, I guess amazon affiliate or something?
Thanks for advices!

You could easily build an amazon affiliate site on that domain and with a bit of promotion you could rank for several keywords. It has potential. It all depends on how much effort you're willing to invest in it.

You would be better off spending $10 on a .com. Orgs can be hard to rank and particularly for a retail only product.

He wanna give it to you cause he don't wanna pay hosting for it, like this he kills 2 bugs with one hit. He get rid of the crappy domain and you think he is a swell friend.

not too many searches as EMD (390 global, 210 in US)
you can get 1$ domains with better keyword volume for sure

Yeah you're only buying a random domain with really no plan. Keep searching and you can pay the same price for something you'll actually use and make something out of. Your friend reg'd that domain and realized he has nothing to do with it for, now he's offering you a "deal" so he can break even.

Do you really even need it?
Do you have any idea what to do with it?
A friendly hint, think twice, please, think twice.

If the domain is related to your skill, if you think you can utilize that domain then you can buy as well, $10 not much.

I would find a good domain name with a .com in the end, and build it into an electronics website where I could sell some gadgets that I'm familiar of.

It's worthless, since it's a very generic/non specific niche (which means it will be super hard to rank).
