Fresh Web 2.0 getting deindexed ?

A few months back I setup a few web 2s on different platforms. I posted 1-2 articles on each and decided to let me them age, before I come back to post more. NO backlinks were built. The content was spun using spinnerchief.

The idea was to use them at tier 1 for my money site.

I remember, that wordpress and hatenablog indexed real quick (within 2 days) and they stayed indexed for atleast a few more weeks as I checked them later.

But when I checked them now like after about 4 months, they are missing in the google's index.

This makes me wonder if big G has started deindexing web 2s. Anyone saw similar things happen ?

yes I saw some wordpress blogs getting deindexed, but not all of them; if you have a portfolio of web20 you can expect some deindexation, it depends if they are new, if they have links, if they are active; google will always try to prune their index.

what would cause a deindexation. so if i just leave a web 2 to age for a few months it would go off ?

only google knows; we could guess lack of links, lack of activity, lack of content uniqueness, etc. as google has to choose among millions of web20 and they do not want to index them all, they only keep the ones seeming the most real, so to speak.
 
Web 2. takes a lot more "awareness" to get indexed by G. You have always needed to point an already indexed link to it to help get it moving. Most 2.0 are not crawled due to their lack of quality content so to get awareness you must help G think it is not more of the same. You need to do that anyway to have it be worth anything to your money site ... social awareness, blog comments and mentions are good ways to get some notice. Web 2.0 takes a lot more work now a days and to be frank I put that time in getting quality links that I do not have to work so hard at and that may go away with the next Google update.

thanks. i have ordered a link package for some newly created web 2s and waiting to see if that gets them indexed.
however I do feel that google is implementing something to identify and dump useless web2s made for the sake of backlinks.
 
you dont "have" to point a link to a web20 to get it indexed and to stay indexed; of course it does not hurt; but I do not use wordpress at this time, it seems there are better web20 that get indexed easier, without links.

it could be the case that wordpress is too old and abused, and newer web20 properties may work better.

sadly have to agree.
even sites with natural good content get deindexed sometimes.

a smaller SB blast or other shitty links however helps to keep them indexed.

however, today, I dont bother with that crap anymore. just waste of my time. and you cant rank shit with competition neither in english nor german with that method. polnish, maybe, spanish, maybe too
 
I dont use web20 to rank, I use them to diversify my link profile.

Also MORE content and better content. Web2.0's with just 2-3 pages and a few hundred words per page are hard to index these days.

I've never had to do this for my Web 2.0's. You should look at what content you use and your choice of platforms. I point 60 GSA SER links per day at my web 2 profiles and haven't had any issues for over 45 days now.

its not polnish. how dare you

ps use freaking ping services. certain platform index spun content on their own. i wont name it of course. but i assume both platform quality and ping services (they were built in) helped it.


Yeah most platforms wont probably index and you need an indexer or something. google submit url is risky because you do it from your IP + from your G accs, where these webs would later point to your website, which is also associated with your G acc and IP.

+ cant really use G indexer for 2 or more domains linking to your MS. footprint

Can you name some of this better web 2.0?
 
Orrrrr you can just use expired web 2.0 blogs with high metrics. Due to the existing backlinks even if they are not indexed they get indexed super fast once you pop some content on them.

Not all web 2 sites support reusing expired/dropped names. Only tumblr, weebly and few others.
For diversity you need to use more platforms.
 
If you have a poor & thin content, usually they are deindexed fast. At least you should post content weekly to show that your active.
