    Hi fellow blackhatters,

I have introduced some big changes to my YouTube video checker service and thought I would share the updates with you all.

    What are the updates?

    • The site has been redesigned to be more visually appealing.
    • Results are now shown in a sort-able color coded table.
    • Your sorted results can now be downloaded as .CSV .XLS or copied to clipboard.
    • You can now include channel names to get a list of all videos associated with those channels.
    • I have added a donate button so all you IM millionaires can help with hosting costs ;)
    • When you enter your list, results are now stored in a database.

Let me expand on that last bullet point a little, as this one is quite a major update. When YouTube deletes a video or bans an account, no information can be retrieved relating to the video. So previously when you entered a list of YouTube ids, my site could tell you which Ids were not working, but it could not tell you the title of said video. This made it a chore to find which videos need re-uploading.

    So what happens now?
Well now when you enter a list of videos it will check to see if each video is still alive, if a video has been deleted by youtube then the system checks the database to see if the ID/URL has been entered by you before. If the ID/URL is in the database then it will retrieve the Title and Stats of the last time it was checked.

This means you can enter a list of active videos, then periodically keep check to see if any are deleted by YouTube. And if they are then you know exactly which ones so you can re-upload them.

Can video information be seen by anyone else?
No, you can only see video information relating to the IDS/URLS you input.

    Questions
If you have any questions about the site, or would like to suggest a feature then please use this thread to do so.

Great work! As a fellow dev you can tell me what technology you used. Asking just out of curiosity.

Also a good idea would be to add some cookie based url persistence, so users do not have to type in the url every time they visit your app

To do what? The site is built with PHP/Javascript.

This crossed my mind, but I not everyone wants data on the same URLS every time. The way I use it is I download the output as an excel file and then I copy and paste the urls from the excel file anytime I need to check stats.

I was considering having a user log in system where users could manage lists as a more persistent solution. But it depends on what people want to see.

Yes it's old and dirty but it gets the job done. I'm not a proficient coder and don't have time to learn new languages so that's why I chose php. And if it's good enough for wordpress, it's good enough for me =].

WOW nice piece of software :) Would be great if you can post channel, and automatically see all the videos in that specific channel, I have a channel with over 200 vids and 1 by 1 just too slow :(

Ok, so youtube was only allowing me to parse up to 50 results when entering channel names. I have fixed this now so when you enter a channel name it will get ALL videos associated with the channel.

Anyone knows if there is another one like this? This one gets a bit buggy if a video is deleted and the page goes to shit
