In short, no.
There are no differences in .xyz and .com domain extention, at least, technically speaking.
But when your lovely name business.com taken and all you want is a very brandable domain, you may consider business.xyz, but unfortunately, its gone too.

I don't think it's working anymore. I choose the domain, go to cart, press continue shopping and it goes back to home.

Ever saw a .xyz domain ranking for any good keyword? Plus people dont even trust this extension. Yup, good for putting sample sites on it for the showcase.
