I've been telling myself and everyone else that I'm going to make it in the offline world, but it?s been who knows how long.
So I decided that I needed to get some accountability to make this happen.
In return for helping me or at least reading this, I'm putting my soon to be wso here.
You see I have a couple of clients.
But nothing to write home to momma about. 2 are for seo and one is for web redesign.
just to let you know that seo is basically not for me anymore because one of those clients that I have for seo, I told them that it would be 4 months to get to page 1 (that's what the worker told me to say) anyway, its been 7+ months and he stopped paying but he?s really well connected so im paying for continued work till he gets to page 1 (I know im an idiot).

Anyway, it?s been pretty depressing not getting any clients, so I've taken to the phones and I even bought a scraper but so far it?s been 1000s of emails and not one bite.

I bought Cameron and Mario?s wso (Kenny cannon other wso name) but they were cool yet not effective.
    What you going to do.
Anyway, I've decided to look into lead generation and foot in the doors like video creation.

my goal is 5k a month (actually its more like 50k a month, I know its possible) and here?s my plan:

100 phone calls a day (50 of video and 50 for lead generation)

im targeting painters and roofers (this actually might be a bad idea as they are really cheap as im getting from the cold calls and they have reputable services like home advisors and angies list that do the lead gen for them already)

( I cant upload the wso but i'll just copy and paste them in here.
    enjoy yourselves

    Cold calling mastery
If you are like me, then you hate, no loathe, no pish your pants to hear the word
    cold calling.
I know, I was there, and at times I still get that uchy feeling in my stomach just
    thinking about it.
    But...
    And it?s a big one...
... Cold calling is the fastest way to get clients and keep clients in the world.
And now cold calling is bigger than ever.
    Why?
Simply, because no one wants to do it.
That?s a huge key in life, whatever people don?t want to do, you need to jump on
that because now the competition is super low.
Ok so basically you need a few keys to striking it rich in cold calling.
    1. Enthusiasm
    2. Your opening (elevator pitch)
    3. Easy way to handle objections
You might be saying to yourself, how I can be excited about something I am
    petrified about.
I start shaking just hearing the phrase cold calling, and now you want me to be
    excited about it.
    What are you on crack?
Believe it or not, I never tried a cigarette in my life.
It was scarred from my parents scaring me half to death and I was conditioned to
never want to touch anything like that.
But that?s how we are going to get you excited.
    What are you talking about?
Ok, remember that movie Boiler room, when the guys were making crazy money?
Do you remember what ben Affleck told them to do to get more confidence?
He told them to imagine they were vice presidents, that they were important
    people.
When you feel you?re bigger than you really are, you get more inspiration and
    confidence.
So, kick some butt, you CEO of your marketing company!
Now, why in Sam hill do you need to have an elevator pitch?
And what the flip is that anyway?
Elevator pitches are your 20 seconds in front of the prospect to give them some
interest to keep you on the phone.
I?m going to give you the best elevator pitch in the world. Just adjust it to your
service (I should I charged hundreds for this alone).
    Here it is (enjoy):
Would you give me your undivided attention for the next 20 seconds?
I will show you a product that will increase your sales 15% for every month by
finding the missed opportunities. by the way, if I could prove that, would you be
the decision maker or would that be someone else that would could spend $x,xxx to
    increase your sales 15%
Why is this a million dollar pitch?
    Simple.
    What does every business want?
    Customer, clients, MMMMMMOOONEEEYYY!!!!!
    That?s all they want.
Yea some want to help people and give back to their community, but if helping
people and giving doesn?t translate into Benjamins, then their business won?t be
    helping people for too long.
They all want money, so don?t try to sell yourself, sell what they want already.
    SHOW ME THE MONNNNNEEEEYYYYYY!
Ok, now that we have the super awesome converting elevator pitch, how do we
deal with the objections that will 99% of the time happen?
What should we do if they say any of these?
    - Ah, that?s a lot of money, and we don?t have room in our budget for it right
    now
    - No, I'm okay with the way things work right now.
    - I need to run this by my wife/business partner/mentor before I do
    anything else
    - Etc...
    - Etc...
Let?s kick the money objection in the tush.
This is how it will go:
I hear, is that your only objection?
    Let him talk
if you did have the money why would you take this service?
Let him tell you why he needs this service
    You say:
Are they enough reasons for you to find the money, so you can start living the way
    you really wanted?
Do you value these reasons enough to find the money?
Shut your pie hole and let him talk
    Then respond:
So where would you have to go to get the money?
    Let him respond
Get him to commit to getting the money
    Keys to remember:
People can tell what you look like on the phone.
Well, they have a picture of what they think you look like.
That can be a good thing ... or a really really bad thing.
I recommend getting a Bluetooth so you aren?t restricted when making calls as

I'm sorry if this sounds harsh.

But if that is your 'Cold Calling Mastery' WSO, you should throw your phone in the bin.

The only thing you are right about with that pitch is the objections you will get 99% of the time.

There is so much wrong with your 'WSO' it would take far too long to elaborate.

I am 99% certain though, that you have never made a single sales call.
I am 100% certain that you have never made a successful sales call.

As far as what I sell, I have been involved in sales in one way or another for a very long time.

As far as how I 'pitch it' - I don't.

Selling isn't about pitching, or scripts, or magic words or objection handling or WSO secrets.

I was at a family occasion,so it was a slow day (0 sales)
when you sell from one to another, especially when making cold calls, dont you need to have some type of script just to same time and stay focused?
i figure its just a tool (very important i feel). of course, you need to input yourself and your imagination to handle an actual conversation, but without these tools, i find myself veering off topic and wasting time.
I have 2 seo clients, and 1 web redesign client.I reiterate this just to tell you that i have been successful (not very successful, but it has worked)
if you wouldnt mind, i feel we as a community and myself in particular would greatly benefit very much from information on selling that you have.
thx for posting, I really appreciate from your perspective.

I would love to see some elaboration as well, about to start cold-calling businesses and it can be extremely intimidating.
