I was in search of a basic content spinner where it wasn't required to create a login/profile or whatever.. So me and a friend built this site on our own.

It was supposed to be for personal use and not expecting tons of people to use it, but here it is.

Let me know if there are any glitches and I will look into it, thanks.

It'll get the job done. But you can only use 1 level of brackets {}, meaning you can't put brackets inside brackets to spin.. I didn't make the php code that advanced. If more people start to use it, then perhaps I will include more features. Anyways, enjoy.

Please don't flame the site unless it's constructive criticism and I can actually use it to work on something.

Just tried spinning the first phrase of your OP and it works fine. I asked for 20 spins and it gave me 15 which I assume is because that is all the available spins without generating repeats. At first I copied your paragraph into the spinner and tried to work on it but it processes that form continually so became chronically slow. That's fine though because I dumped it into notepad first and then copied to your form.

Not really sure about the keywords it pulls out but with such a short paragraph it probably felt inclined to suggest at least something lol.

It would be nice to have the option of downloading the a zipfile containing all the individual spins as files instead of having to copy/paste from the site. Just have the results page there as a quick and easy reference to see what the results were before downloading.

EDIT: Just a thought, if I were copying a 600 word article, the 750 word limit wouldn't leave much room for the spinnable alternatives. What's the form processing that makes it so slow? Is that what requires it have a 750 word limit?

Thanks for in depth analysis, I appreciate it. I need to know what to work on and stuff.

Yea for now there is 15 copy limit otherwise it just takes too long and makes the results page waay longer.. Same for the 750 word limit per article spun, I don't know why but the input form gets really laggy really fast so I capped it at 750 words. I will need to work on a way to make it less laggy.

That's a good point, I will see if it's possible to save the spun copies to a .txt file on the server, that would make things alot easier, I think?

The keywords it pulls out are the most occuring words in the article, works more accurately when an article is 250 words or more.

    Thanks for that input mate.

Thought I would give this a bump, still looking for more opinions. Hope you don't mind.

Thanks, but I was hoping to get comments regarding the spinner I posted, not for you to advertise yours here. + Yours is in german or something.

I tired it and it spins (1 level), but I was hoping that it would create word variations from a given text. Many article submit programs already have such a spinner integrated so I don't know if yours still has much use. Maybe for someone that needs a quick variation of a pre-created spin-article?
One thing I would change is that you should leave the article in the textarea when you send an error message. fi If I don't fill in the number of spin copies, I get a messsage and my text is gone. Setting the # of copies to 2 by default would already help.

You already have javascript doing all the work, which is great; so why are you sending the article to the server and back? You're just wasting server traffic.

Also, your spinner should support expressions like this one:
    {1|2|}
This should return 1, 2 or nothing.

Thank you for your input guys, I will take note of it all. I am already working on upgrading the script.

And Re: Paincake, I have done it all in php mainly because I only created this website to work on my php skills and learn. I don't know much javascript so it wouldnt be possible for me to do that.

I am working on improving it all. Thanks guys.

Oh, I skimmed through the html source and assumed that javascript is doing all the spinning.
