So I'd just like to start off by saying that I hope I'm posting this in the right place. This is something in the works that I discovered yesterday while playing with IG. For those pro members, it might seem like an amateur method, so I apologize if it's not big scale! - yet ;)

So basically I run an Etsy account selling Jewelry, and expensive jewelry at that. (dropshipped) Now my account had had about 10 sales in like two weeks, which was OK, but not great. I decided to jump on Insta and make a page for my Etsy account. I then posted quality, high res images of my products to Insta, 6 to be precise. In each picture I added a location to increase exposure. I also added a sh*t ton of hashtags, relating to the niche. This got me loads of likes in a matter of seconds. Next, I made sure to have a detailed product description on the picture, followed by the price. A link to my shops featured items was left in my Insta bio. I put some lovey dovey naturalistic bullsh*t in my bio like, "Love outdoors, love making things for great people, check my handmade stuff here". Within seconds of posting those images, I got 500-600 views of organic traffic from Insta, free.

I checked a few hours later, and had achieved 6 sales, and evidently more traffic and reviewers, which was sick. Like ($80 profit from Insta traffic) I have some nice looking products so hopefully I can scale this more.

So yeah, that's basically it. If anyone has any scaling tips, or how to reach a big audience for more traffic, drop me some hints ;) hope this helped someone..

I don't have any experience with Insta + Etsy, but I have seen Insta + Shopify works quite well.

You can do testing with buying shoutouts on Instagram from influencers, I haven't done this but have seen this working on my friend's site.

You can also experiment with Google Display Ads - Neil Patel has a detailed article on this!

That's weird  how long was the account active? And did you spam things to peoples inboxes or something so Insta flagged you? :(

Trust me, nothing, I only follow and unfollow, and never PM anyone or spam even 1 comment, no bio link etc, everything legit except F&UnF, but I am from a country which does not accept, I use VPN to manage my account, maybe this reason.

this sounds great man, but did you put more than 30 hashtags? If yes how did you do that, like in multiple comments?

Yeah, filtered in the first 30 hashtags that related to the niche in the photo description, then sorta spammed some more hashtags like "l4l" "f4f" kinda ones in the comments. Not really sure if the comment hashtags had much effect but I know for a fact that the main niche hashtags gave me exposure.
