So, If I was to promote my blog/website on CL, advertising a free trial something or another in the (free) section.... with a link to my blog/website... would I have to hide the referrer?? or do a double-meta refresh??

    Basically it's:
    1. List free trial offer on CL
    2. Have link to blog/site
    3. On site, have link to trial offer (if they choose to click it)

is there any way for my AM to find out?? would they be pissed??

what do you guys say?? good idea or not?

    general rule: just hide everything

for your own curiousity, they wouldn't find where your advertising unless you made it obvious like post your blog link on CL or something like that. They can easily just search google for your blog link if they were suspicious of you - other then that they wouldn't have any idea

The affiliate would never know where the traffic came from. Period. Unless the user goes on your site, clicks through to the aff-link and then files a 'spam' report on....(what??) your site? lol. If your site is clean I don't see why not. I'm doing the same; promoting an offer through my website in which the traffic is generated from Craigs. My aff havent been pissed about that.
Otherwise...if you are to post on CL; just use 'cloaked' links from 'owns.it' or other websites like moourl (not tiny as that's likely to be ghosted from CL) or nametoolong.com

Only thing I can see, is if they actually did some in-depth resource to see where your traffic was coming from , such as a backlink report. There are ways around it such as using encoding of some sort or using a cloaker.

Best bet, if your going to blank anything to being with, blank it going out of your site. If your not content on doing that, then cloak the link.
