Ok whos signing up then?
I saw this today, it sounds good at first but in reality its hell. Something is bound to go wrong as well. Loads of people are already applying for this
Original way to commit suicide
Its a one way ticket, so the odds are good that that at least a few of them will totally regret it, thus sewing the seeds of mans first journey to colonize planets resulting in the universe's most pessimistic planet.
Great idea, we're already too many here. Send some to mars!
Open your mind, open your mind, open your miiiiinnnnddd!!
To be honest I think this is just the build up for the next big reality tv sow. That's what it sounds like rather than a serious bid to put people up there.
Sounded like a good idea at first, and then I read it again...'One way ticket'
this is cool...I would go..
this is the reason i read for one way
During the seven-to-eight month journey, astronauts will lose bone and muscle mass. After spending time on Mars' much weaker gravitational field, it would be almost impossible to readjust back to Earth's much stronger gravity, says Landsorp.
how much is the ticket to come back?
Flight time is 8 month long. so we can calculate it with comparison to earth flight fares.
I think the next window for return is in like 15 years... it's not just an 8 month trip.
no guarantee lol
Also I read that the radiation is so high and so different to anything we understand, they don't even know what effects it would produce.
And the atmosphere is like a vacuum.
In the article it says because of thus the pods need to be buried under earth that the habitants will need to dig out??
Sign me up. I would rather die doing something amazing like this than die of colon cancer or a heart attack!
