tell me if i messed up

You've only messed up if you're doing this after the new FTC rules kick in.. and even then only if you get caught..

At first I thought I'm safe because I'm in Canada.. but my paypal account is in the USA, my server is in the USA, and my customers are in the USA... so I'd better play nice with the FTC.

what does the FTC say about this thats illegal

what's illegal about his method that wouldn't fly with the FTC? as far as i heard if you don't do any deceptive advertising and show your income there shouldn't be any problems?

hell yeah... but seriously, can anyone improve on this method to make it automated, because writing reviews sux a lot

new FTC rules say that if you are endorsing something like that you need to disclose that you are doing so for a profit. Nobody does that though, its just sort of out there in case they want to IMO - kind of like piracy. They may make a couple of examples but they're not gonna get anyone unless you go huge and piss off a lot of people (I think its mostly geared towards free trial CC CPAs where people get billed and think they wont, if you are pushing those hard and piss off Oprah then they might get you).

then i guess, you can always say that "you started to make this report on ____ in order to make some cash"
as simple as that, why spell out that this is really a sales letter?
