Quick disclaimer, this method is a step by step for the "5 dollars a day method pls" crowd. Not for you, you big baller, massive unit of a black hatter. You certainly know better than dissing me in the comments, you ARE better. Stay rich and handsome.
well, to celebrate that i am finally jr VIP, I will share a method for the first time. i may get a bit of heat for this one, but nowadays everyone gets heat when sharing methods for some reason. this is something quite basic, but that I haven't seen shared here before, and I have seen people making it work quite well. the one I saw was a dude who had a discord where he shared poker courses. you may or may not be aware of it, but since 2004 online poker has been getting more and more sophisticated, and with it came an industry of coaching and selling online courses. These courses can go as high as 2000-3000usd, most float around 100-300 bucks. the person organizing this discord would charge 50usd for access to the discord per month. you get access and can download any of the pirated courses. for any self-respecting poker player, it's insane value. these courses can give you the edge you need to make it to the next level. plus, each month more courses would get added.
so, the method here is A) find a niche where tons of courses or material is being produced. B) pirate those courses C) make a discord or any platform you feel comfortable with and prepare it for this. a good automod/discord bot, divide channels, make the courses readily available, etc. D) find your audience and promote your discord. bonus points if you add your own value.
A) and B) how do you find your niche? well, here comes your ingenuity, and if you have deep knowledge on any niche that fits the bill, even better. but I have some suggestions:
-finance niche: tons of trading courses out there. probably not hard to pirate either. biggest advantage is that you can charge a nice 60 bucks subscription for it since the courses are hilariously expensive. plus we can assume anyone looking to learn trading will be ready to cough 60 bucks a month.
-audioporn niche: this is a weird one I found while investigating for niches that may work on this. turns out audioporn is a thing. turns out most of the voices are amateurs that did it for fun, and many of them eventually deleted their records, but they still get shared randomly. you can save your subscribers the treasure hunt by gathering all the stuff on your discord. this one is not awesome, but its possibly viable and probably not being done in this format right now. you would probably want to bundle the subscription; 29 bucks per 4 months or something. the advantage is that porn is the hugest market, so if you can automate the promoting part, the low price should compensate itself. plus, audio are infinitely lighter than 2 hours videos, so you should save on fixed costs. from what i found, there is a subreddit for it, and there is a 8-kun thread too, to get you started (i feel dirty suggesting a shithole like that). To be honest, I'm including this one to pad the guide a little and to show you something a little different you probably didn't know existed (or did you?). It's probably the worst of the bunch for various reasons.
-crypto niche: trading, investing, farming, everything DEFI, even making coins, whatever, there is a million courses and more will keep appearing. This one is appealing too because there is tons of extra value to be had when you already have a crypto audience in place. more on that later.
-onlyfans niche: share onlyfans stuff. this is cool because the material is relatively easy to find or cheap to get, so if you have them pay 12 bucks a month and get a good number of people, you can make pools and each one gets a vote on which 5 girls add next month. or stuff like that. You can build a bit of a community around this one. Few things unite people as pirating paywalled porn.
-poker niche: can't exactly recommend this one if you have no idea of poker, but it's there.
-stuff from the download section of BHW: if you have 0 budget, you can start here. there is a variety of good, desirable things there, and more get shared all the time. And finding the people who want this is not hard; DM all those failed YouTubers and influencers, conversion rate should be reasonably decent.
bottom line is, the more valuable the material is and the more your clients need it, the more you can charge per month. as for where to get the pirated courses, that's very niche dependant, you will have to look for it.
C) i think discord + drive/mega will work for this. the discord is there so you can have a bit of a community thing going, and so people can see you aren't a scammer. discord will have a general channel and a channel only for people whose subscription is active (which is where they will be able to access the courses). the general part is there so prospective buyers can hop in, check the conversations and make sure you actually deliver what you promise. you can offer 2 or 3 shitty free course samples on the general chat for more assurance i guess. as for drive, its cheap for what it is. Tbh this is the part that has me doubtful, the costs of all those suckers downloading all your shit, even if its compressed. You will have to make the numbers and price according to your expenses. On the other hand, I am sure there are cheaper ways to host such a quantity of material while keeping it available for download, if you are willing to dig. Maybe offer the first 5 prospective clients a free 1 month trial and add 20 fake accounts (before adding those 5); a tiny server with some conversation going looks much better than an empty one and could make the difference on those first sales that will get the snowball rolling.
D) this one depends on your audience and your own expertise, but it shouldn't be too hard. check social media for places where your niche gathers. DM people. on Instagram, on reddit, on discord, on TikTok, even on fucking Omegle, etc. as i said above, offer a few free courses to catch their attention. Try to convert your first clients speaking to them, not just spamming like a bot. check for each thread asking about a course and PM them offering them the course. when you reach a certain size, mouth to mouth should help out too. you can also go the botting route, but this guide is meant for newbies and 5 bucks a day people, so i will emphasize manual work. all this work boils down to you bonding together a product you can offer for 100% of profits and monthly revenue, and promoting the shit out of it
Later on, you could use a botted promotion method. you have this service from a reputed member, or you can invent something with imacro (discord has a browser version, if you didn't knew. in fact, i consider it the superior version). autohotkey is also cool for automation but requires learning to code in that language (which is a cool ability to have). you will have to be mindful of platform limits, but once the ball is rolling and money starts finding its way to your pocket, its probably worth exploring. this is akin to cold calling, and you would do well to experiment a little with what converts better before considering hiring a service to shill for you.
QA:
Q) is this method saturated?
A) i haven't seen anyone talk about it here. and i have never been offered a membership like this on discord. so i would assume that no, its not saturated. internet is huge enough to accommodate you all.
Q) but what stops them from buying 1 month, downloading everything, and not renewing?
A) not much, and thats ok. convenience, since downloading 300gb of courses isn't fun either. some folks will buy 1 month, others value convenience and will just roll with the subscriptions. there are wealthy and poor folks in all niches, we love them all. maybe you can mitigate this by putting an initial price, and a renewal price. 60 bucks the first month, 30 for renewing (made-up numbers; apply common sense here and don't get too greedy with the initial price). if they stop renewing, its 60 to get in again. idk, i wouldn't bother with it since it's a pain to enforce, but its up to you. alternatively, you could setup stuff in a way they can stream stuff but not download it, and that would make it much more difficult to just download everything. but that comes with its own share of trouble and expenses and this is a newbie guide. when starting out, don't complicate, keep it simple.
Q) what payment methods should i use?
A) whatever floats your boat, but i would recommend something that keeps you anonymous and protects you from chargebacks. paypal is probably more problem than its worth. some niches are more tech-savvy, and you can just go full crypto on those. in fact, i would recommend just going full crypto and being fully anonymous. Have a handy guide on "how to buy crypto" for the folks who never dealed with it before.
Q) will i make a million dollars on passive income with this?
A) no. the way i laid it out here, this is not a passive income method. you have to promote, close deals, hunt for new material, pay attention to what your regulars want, and make sure people accessing the material actually paid this month's subscription. This is practically a business, and as a noob, you will start by doing all this manually. you can probably automate or get a VA to deal with most of this stuff, but the important part is that you can do it all yourself manually almost without money.
Q) how much money can i do then?
A) idk, depends on many things, but definitely, enough to satisfy all the 5/10/20usd a day folks, and probably quite quickly too if you put the effort.
Q) how do i convince them its not a scam?
A) as i said above, having an open channel on discord where they can check/ask around. having 2-3 free samples ready so they can see you have stuff. screenshots of some courses vids on your drive. maybe a catalog so they can see if you have what they are looking for.
Q) don't you feel any shame making money pirating courses of those poor creators?
A) not really because i am not using this method. i am just sharing a method anyone can use for relatively quick profits, as long as they put in the effort. some of the folks that come begging for 5 bucks a day methods look genuinely desperate. between some third-world lad desperate to pay rent and well-established content creators, i won't think it too hard.
Q) wait, you are sharing a method you have never used before? what guarantee do i have that it works and you arent just bullshitting for internet points?
A) i don't really believe in guarantees when it comes to money-making methods. who can truly guarantee you something on internet? i believe that if something is simple and makes sense, its worth trying if you aren't banking already. and if someone else is doing it, there is money to be made. this is foolproof (if you pick the correct niche), quick, dirt cheap to start, and doesn't rely on daddy google gracing you with his fickle blessing after waiting a year and expending hundreds/thousands on SEO. if that isn't enough for you, try microworkers.
Bonus stage for the brave and the bold:
-you can find someone already doing it on any niche, subscribe to his discord, download everything he has, copy his twist and sales speech and start your own discord. You could even go the extra mile to be a dick and DM his clients with a cheaper offer, but I wouldn't go there. internet has enough prey for 2 tigers, let's not disrespect a fellow hustler.
-you can and should add a bit of extra value and personal flavor. for example, if you are knowledgeable on the niche, you can write a little "how to get started" guide that features what they need to learn in which order, preferred courses for it, etc etc. or you can have a bit of a community thing going on. a review course channel, a meme or lounge channel, weekly pools, etc, etc.
-you can make a quiz page /listicle articles page on the same niche and promote your quizzes/listicles on the discord for an extra buck. If your content is engaging, you should do well. I am a big fan of plugging quizzes on almost everything. Maybe not if you are already banking since they can be quite a bit of work and a pain to set up correctly. But when every buck counts, most methods can start, finish or have quizzes in the middle to generate a bit more money. Add affiliate links on the quizzes when possible and tasteful for extra value. I could get more complex and profitable with this, but I will keep it simple to keep it practical and grounded.
-learn to download stuff safely. i am not a super techy fish, but with a VM maybe? or a raspberry pi, and downloading to it? or simply a Linux computer, since that OS is a lot safer. in this hustle, you are almost guaranteed to download from untrustworthy sources from time to time, so don't go just downloading stuff without a bulletproof safety net. if you could have a Linux computer solely for downloading, and a different one for everything else, that would be great. Keep your crypto on something that has 2FA and good safety measures, like ftx. And learn how to depurate archives very very well, like your business depends on it, because it does; if your clients download 1 infected archive, you deserve what you will get.
-keep a local copy of all your material. drive and mega are cool, but there is always the slight chance you get shot down for sharing private courses. losing all the stuff would suck. i think drive is good, but feel free to research for alternatives you feel more comfortable with.
-get the emails of your clients, and keep their discord handles on a list. offer them to subscribe to a monthly newsletter where you tell them the novelties on the discord, such as new courses this month, new quizzes if you went that way, etc. Don't spam, you will lose them. The list will help you get some returning clients. and more importantly, if for any reason something happened to the discord, you will be able to reach out to your client list with an invitation to a new discord (their subscription is still valid naturally, and throw in a free week or something as a little "sorry for the trouble"). if something like this ever happens, make a few discords, rather than a new one, and distribute the clients between those. try to isolate the problem.
-on the long run, having this list of people who A) are very into a niche and are willing to spend money on it B) trust you to some extent because you actually deliver, can open you some new revenues. selling to them thematic/meme t-shirts or cups, using the platform to offer your own course (with a nice discount for those subscribed to the discord) tastefully shared ref links for recommended equipment, and almost any stuff you can think of. Go slow and don't bite more than you can chew, but the opportunity is there. Manually gathered lists are a powerful resource that normally you can't really buy. They are unique to you, proof of the path you alone treaded. The difficult but glorious path towards 5 bucks a day.
that's all for now. keep swimming.
