"You will get all you want in life, if you help enough other people get what they want."

Hi Guys and welcome to my journey.

    IMPORTANT
List building by giving away free software is not allowed on BHW so when you visit my website use this link and you will be able to download all the software without opting into anything :)

    Executive Summary
I'm starting a website at http://www.SupaGrowth.com/no-opt where I create free software to help people grow their online businesses. I will monetize this website by building an email list and marketing genuinely useful software that is relevant to my user's software usage.

    About Me
As you probably guessed my name is Jamie. I'm 31 years old and I live in the UK. My passion is coding and I've been doing it since I was 10 years old. I have a degree in computer science and I'm currently working full time as a software developer for a medium sized business. I've had the hunger for online success for years now, I've made decent money but I've come to realise that the most successful people online are those that offer real value and have a loyal custom base because of this. As Zig Ziglar said above, I've basically just got to help as many people grow their business as I can and in return mine should hopefully grow with theirs.

    Why I've chosen this journey
I've chosen this journey/business because I know from experience I hate banging out content and love coding. I can honestly see myself just doing this for fun even if it doesn't make a profit. Also I think it will get harder and harder to rank websites unless you are a big authority, I've seen the change slowly over the last 10 years. I see it much like how 100 years ago modern economies consisted of small businesses only and now its domination by large corporations. I think you can do well if you truly love a niche and really do have an ultra in depth understanding of it but for me coding is what I'm best at so I'm going to play to my strengths.

    Monetisation
My monetisation plan is fairly simple. I make 100% free full software that people have a need for. They enter their email to get the download link then if they use the software frequently I'll email them basically saying "Hey, I'm glad you like my software but if you want more features this is available". Over time I'll hopefully build a large list of people who want to know about future software releases and trust me because they know I want their business to grow as much as I want mine to because I know what the hunger feels like, hunger as in constantly wanting to succeed. So much so that's it's all you think about to the point of an unhealthy obsession.

Software so far (ready to download now)

Expired Tumblr Hunter - This tool allows you to find expired niche related Tumbrs and even checks to see if they can be registered. These can be used to boost your website up the rankings quite nicely.

Broken backlink finder - This tool will find broken links for you to email the webmaster and try and score some nice safe whitehat links. You can crawl by a list of websites or by keywords and it will scrape from Bing.

Link Monitor - Is will check your know backlinks as often as you want it to. It will monitor the pages they exist on for any change to the link itself or even the pages OBL count.

PBN Hunter - You know when people build PBN's and then hide them from backlink crawlers such ahrefs? Well they can't do that anymore now! PBN Hunter works on the premise that if a websites is being powered up google by a PBN for the search term "cheap dog toys" then those PBN's will appear somewhere in the results for the search term "cheap dog toys". It might be the 50th page it might be the 500th, but it will normally be there somewhere if it's a decent PBN. PBN hunter will scrape all the keyword search results and check each page for a link to the target money website.

    Promotion
To promote Supa Growth I'm going to use the following methods and if anyone can think of anything else that might work please let me know.

    BHW signature and journey
    SEO comment jacking
Social - not sure if to be whitehat with one twitter account or go nuts and get 200 with follow liker?
Contact form and wordpress blog commenting automation - not sure if to write some code to fill out contact forms and comment on WP blogs telling people about my software. It's a bit spammy but then again it would get me some nice traffic for a set and forget setup?

Any input from you guys would be great!

    Updates
I'll try and update this journey daily with traffic, earnings, downloads, answers to software requests.

    Want something made?
If you have a piece of software made that you think there is a decent demand for then please post on here and let me know.

    Conclusion
Wish me luck guys! It might take me years till I can leave my 9-5 but I want your businesses to grow with mine and I'm going to keep making free software to help online business owners till that happens.

p.s go easy on me there will be a few bugs to start with ;-) and everything will feel a little rough but over time the website and software will get better and better!

To download my software visit http://www.SupaGrowth.com/no-opt

If you have any problems please install the latest .net framework version

And yes I'm fully aware my brand name sounds like an advanced form of cancer. You'll all just have to deal with it for now ;-)

Just so people are aware there is a small bug in the expired tumblr hunter that I'm rolling a fix out for tomorrow:)

    UPDATE
So quite a mixed day/start yesterday. I started this journey thread but haven't had any feedback which I was expecting. I started a thread for my free expired tumblr but it got deleted because I didn't know you couldn't promote free software where the user has to enter their e-mail. I'm just waiting on the mods to OK my solution of BHW members not being asked for their email by checking the referer or using a special link. e.g http://www.supagrowth.com/no-opt

    TRAFFIC
I got 130 visits which was cool about 80 opt ins before my tumblr thread was removed.

    SOFTWARE
I've fixed a bug in the expired tumblr hunter that was causing it to stop before the end of the results from Bing for certain keywords. Just about to upload the new version now.

I would like to know if it is possible a bot that finds the most useful information about a topic in forums and social media. Like: I want to know the methods available to get a huge roi using Facebook ads, so I type "Facebook ads Roi methods" and it shows me the best, most viewed articles in blogs, forums and social media. Because the good information is hard to find and usually forgotten in old pages, especially in forums.

All the best and go hard!

Thats an interesting idea, digging up gold from the past. Not sure what metrics i could use to reliably find the best source of information though. I suppose the social part might be easy enough, just search the APIs by keywords and find the most shared, tweeted posts, but I have a feeling someone will of already done this?

Thats so weird. Mine is running fine now with the technology keyword on page 31 after like 20 sec. Can you PM any other keywords?
