Hey guys. I found a free way to get a domain that redirects to whatever LP you want.

www . dot . tk (it wouldn't let me post the link without spaces, just remove them)

no its not a super legit dot com site, but its completely free, and there are a TON of totally awesome domains open. I think its actually a better option than buying domains personally.

.tk domains have been around for the past 15 or 20 years and have been suggested already around the forum to use with social media marketing. Thanks for the share though. Good to use for people on a budget, but it's a lot safer to use a regular TLD.

Oh, sorry. I have been lurking here for a long while, I had never seen them mentioned with the whole IG + OGADS system going around. Do you mind explaining the risk involved in using them?

No worries at all. You were sharing something you found useful that's perfectly valid. There was a post six years back which is worth quoting rather than summarizing:
They don't really delete them, basically if they notice you are generating a good amount of traffic, they'll have the domain redirect to their ads and offers, unless you buy the .tk domain before this happens. It's in their TOS to take over a free domain whenever they want to. So basically they'll take it while you're sending traffic, you'll check your domain name, then realize they are stealing all your traffic and it was a waste of time.

This was in response to .tk domains for seo purposes, but it still applies. You can also search Google of cases where people have lost their .tk domains. 99 times out of 100 you're going to be fine using them, but I tend to stick to the guaranteed route, especially if I can pick up a domain for $0.99 - $9.
 
Don't waste your time on .tk I was using them back in 2004 I think maybe earlier. But once you start getting a bunch of traffic to your domain, they shut it down and sell it. The .tk domains you see that redirect, are people paying for the domain.

So in reality, you are better off paying $0.99 at godaddy for a .info then get a free Blogspot account and add the .info to your Blogspot. Your total investment is $0.99 and you have a blog that you control.
 
I think I wrote that above about .tk domains redirecting to someplace else.
