hi folks, just wanted to know the possible reasons why one could be denied to affiliate with free*credit*report*dot*COM through Comm!s!on Junct!on.

e.g. quality of homepage?

My request was denied upfront
Any ideas?

TY

If you are not US resident for example... CJ denies most of the applications automatically for non US applicants.

CJ sucks a lot!

I was auto-denied for FCR too. I'm a U.S. resident and the account is nearly 5 years old. I haven't a clue why I'd be denied.

I was denied too.. I think its closed for registrations..

i think it maybe because they only accept a certain performance bar rating. Why networks close registration is beyond me

It's important to understand that each advertiser can set up their own rules for approving/declining publisher applications.

Advertisers can set up their accounts to do any of the following . . .

Auto decline
Auto approve
Manually decline

And they can set up rules around any of the following items:

Country
Publisher Category
Network Rank
Incentive/Special sites

For example, an advertiser might set up the following ruleset:
  • Auto decline: All countries outside of the United States
  • Auto decline: Travel-related sites
  • Auto decline: All incentive/special sites
  • Auto decline: All affiliates with 0 or 1 green bar
  • Manually approve: Everything else

If you're immediately declined, your site/account probably failed one of their auto decline filters. Try writing to the advertiser, some are reasonable and will consider working with affiliate that reach out to them. Others are crap and don't even check their inboxes.

From what I have heard they make you wait 2 weeks after signing up before accepting you to fcr.

If you are declined by an advertiser try applying again if the relationship they see on your website fits well within their policies with what you are selling or the products you are prooting are in relation to theirs.
I have been turned down by a few and then re-applied the following week and been accepted by them, so try again i would.

its because of the website i contacted them and thats what they said..

Because your not a baller and aren't rocking 5 bars and a killer company website. I don't know why you would care any way, every cpa network these days has a fcr offer of some sort.

There are other good credit reports you can do. I actually got my first CPA lead on a different credit report today =P.

did anyone get accepted by free credit report dot com on cj...just wondering as i didnt..i had to use copeac for other credit report offers

As stated above there are tons of other CPA networks that Specialize in credit reporting campaigns and provide a much more broad selection. But if you for some reason find this one very attractive contact the affiliate manager and show them that you are receiving a large amount of quality U.S. traffic for their campaigns.

I also got auto-denied by this merchant through CJ, however, this merchant is also with neverblueads, and I was approved there.

For example, an advertiser might set up the following ruleset:
  • Auto decline: All countries outside of the United States
  • Auto decline: Travel-related sites
  • Auto decline: All incentive/special sites
  • Auto decline: All affiliates with 0 or 1 green bar
  • Manually approve: Everything else

If you're immediately declined, your site/account probably failed one of their auto decline filters.

Thanks, that's helpful info.

I was auto-declined recently for F*C*R, on a CJ account that's several years old, but one that I haven't been using in a while. It's probably one of these two reasons:

  • Auto decline: All incentive/special sites
  • Auto decline: All affiliates with 0 or 1 green bar

Because my account is marked as "incentive/special" and I currently have a 0 bar on that account... since I haven't sent them traffic since e*b*ay quit.

I was assuming it's because of my "special" status... heh.

But if any of you have a 0/1 bar and got auto-denied (and aren't marked for incentive) maybe it's that instead.
