Somebody I've been working with has asked me to stir up a bit of a buzz about their new site. The site is a new spin on an old idea, and may well work, however I suggested that for a limited time he offers free backlinks to a select group of people, to start the ball rolling.
He doesn't want it to be general knowledge that he's giving away free links, because it'll just get abused (not like you guys are going to do that anyway
