Free article source for Associated Content

My buddy recently started a business that sends out newsletters to his customers. Nothing new there. Unfortunately for him, he sends out his nicely written 400+ word news articles about his niche market, but does not put them on his website or publish them on the internet. So, being the good friend I am, I submit his articles to Associated Content and get paid for his hard work. I'm now a member of several different email subscriptions that are pure gold for AC.

No need to tell him. He runs his own business as he wants to, and you do the same with yours.

That is a great idea, though. I wonder if there is a directory somewhere of these niche mailing lists... I guess the right search can bring up any niche.

He uses others to make a profit... blackhat.
Yeah, nice idea you get there, but unfortunately there are only few subscriptions that could bring in some profit. Mostly they publish so called hard work elsewhere.

It's bad use friends hard work. Buy him something

I did tell him, after I schooled him in SEO techniques, and how to actually use the articles he writes to drive traffic to his business. It was just a nice touch to prove my point by showing him my Associated Content earnings from his articles.

I'll gladly take your money, but I don't offer any said "subscription service." I was just giving you an idea that may or may not increase the weight of your piggy bank.

Not a bad idea. Unfortunatly I think every newsletter i'm signed up for is also posted online. Still a good way to think outside the box, you saw an opportunity and jumped on it.

Maybe take him to lunch at applebees (or other relatively inexpensive restaurant) and let him buy you lunch. (He's the business owner afterall)

Good idea.....I'm glad you told your friend what you are doing. Don't agree with stiffing your friend. Kind of low there....below the belt. Black hat is fine but greed is NOT.

Friends should be off limits to BH.
