You have to analyze the competition. Go to the first page of results in Google and analyze it. You can use Seoquake or SEO4firefox (they are free both plugins for firefox). Study if you can outrank them.
- How many backlinks have they got?
- That backlinks are for your keyword
- Onpage SEO (keyword in domain, description, title, text)
- Authorities sites? ...

hmmm i have Seoquacke

the keyword is related to video niches so when i search i got yahoo video and youtube and mudvideos and imeem. these are the first 4 sites in page 1

both 4 sites using using the keyword with denisty of yahoo ( 1.94 repeted 2)

imeem (5.39% repeted 4) and metrolyrics (1.40 repeted 1)

and an arabic site using the word ( 12 times and density is 6.02)

no keyword in domain

how can i check the backlinks of the keyword?

Sounds like there is potential here, but don't invest the money until you have the whole plan worked out. You buy the domains, then what? You need some content. You need to do some SEO. Maybe you need to buy that search. Now you have traffic to your site. How do you monetize it? Is thre any particular niche CPA offer that might work or are you stuck with generic advertising? Work through the whole thing and then if it looks good, buy the domain.

not to thread jack the OP's issue but, it falls inline with the information he is talking about...

when you are scoping your competition and you go to google, type your keyword (without quotes) - is THAT your competition? because if I am correct that would be the "broad match" right?

OR

is your competition the results when you put your keyword "in the quotes"?

because I have some keywords that get like 2mil+ without quotes that I want to start working with, but they only have like 50k competition with quotes...?

I'm just looking for a concrete answer...

i think it is best to find out how competetive the keyword is to use market samurai or any other tools/methods and see how competetive the top 10...backlinks/seo that what matters after all...

yup! use samurai then find competing sites if you can outrank them. if yes, then buy the domain.

Hi thanks for your reply :)

Broad search about 65million and exact search is 350,000

How can you consider if this a good keyword or bad keyword by the exact and broad results?

thanks so much

With 350,000 searches a month it mean that is competitive keyword.Good luck and keep us updated.

Google keyword tool isn't precise.
I've bought a domain that was supposed to get 50-100 visits a day when on #1.

I've reached #4 and barely got 1 visitor a day.
