Was cleaning up some old projects from the "OGADS+IG+MP" Days.....
"well, just 301 that domain to the money site and let it expire".

Was checking the moneysite. "Why 150+ MORE RDs???"

case was: that domain from the OGADS-Days was some expired stuff.

Some dude build 11k links from 170 RDs to it (!!!!)
What kind? 100% pure blogspot accounts + nofollow url links + brandname anchors.
    behind that: more blogspot accounts
    behind that: more blogspot commeents

    how old? 2 years +

"hm, thats strange. I bet it's penalized. why not pop up some article and plug it into GWT"

    gwt: no penalty.
archive.org: was some old site for some links to movies..

    article popped onto the site.
    submitted to cache

    result? 3 days later

    #12 for 3 word kwfinderdiff 28
    #55 for 2 word kwdiff 28 22k moneyword.
it even ranks one spot before the moneysite I want to rank with other methods :/

I can just imagine building 170 g accounts with 3 tier blogsspot was kind of expensive..

    well, lucky me.

I will put it to good use :)

150 RD in Ahrefs maybe. There are tons of domains that have some "blogspot" spam and RD over the roof. It's pretty common, because Ahrefs takes into account every shit link on the planet.

i think links from sites with big ahrefs rank (blogspot has a big one there) add more RD.

but thats just third party metric. Maybe links from top sites gain faster more and more value overtime than normal links. so if u let ur blogspot links stay for a couple months they could kick stronger than links from unknown sites. at least in RD

Ahrefs rank does not, nor can have, any impact on RD. And RD is not a metric. RD is a fact.

oh well i thought the thread is about ahrefs metric (UR/DR) and not RD (refering domains) nvm.

but still. maybe theres some hidden power in "gaining juice overtime" from sites from top platforms

Yeh, there's so many words in that thread title, that it's super easy to mistake RD for UR/DR...

well, I find I hard to believe that this domain is ranking.
however, I dont care. it was free a free found and registering it was just 3€.
