Hey guys, i found 10 expired(deleted) domains. They all got one real EDU backlink. But the domains only have about 5-10 backlinks in general and a low PA(<15) and DA(<20). Schould I still register them for my bpn, or do you think that is to less link juice?

Since they are available at their registration prices, they are worth registering, provided that they do not have spammy link profiles.

Is each domain linked to from the same EDU page? In other words - do they all have the same link pointing towards them? If so, I'd only buy one or two rather than the whole lot.

Other than that, what is the PR of these linking EDU pages? I wouldn't worry too much about the metrics if you've got a domain with a mid to high PR link from an EDU site.

Peep what steve waller said above, if all of the domains are linked all from the same page I wouldnt buy them all and use them in the same network. Different network yes but not the same

what is the pagerank of the referring page?

I think the real strength in edu links is that an edu usually has very good domain authority.

Also, have you checked the TF and CF from Majestic?

If the referring edu page has some pagerank and the referring edu domain authority is good I'd say go for it, taking into account the other things posted above

Before looking to DA/PA the link popularity it's most important thing. If this site has only 5-10 backlinks don't buy it, it's really low amounth.
I never buy domains with less than 80 backlinks because it's really hard for all sites remore all this backlinks (5-10 legin Edu backlinks can be removed in few months and you lost your money).

    Hope my point is clear.

If you are using MajesticSEO to check the backlinks, check the historic index too. It includes backlinks you can't find in the fresh index (but it includes lots of deleted backlinks too, so be aware of that).

With that said, if the domains have only that EDU backlink and a few others, they're worth the registration fee, but you will need a lot more than 10 domains to create a juicy PBN. I'd suggest to keep searching, there are a lot of more powerful domains you can get for reg fee.

Regarding the PA/DA, you shouldn't really worry about them: you'll find gems with a lower PA/DA than the domains you have found, and garbage with higher PA/DA.
