    Hi guys,

Found an 11 year old domain with PR1 (going for age more than PR for new offline site). Plan is to buy this and redirect to my new business site that isn't complete yet.

Anyway, page rank is valid and domain seems clean. However, when checking for redirects it has found a 302 (temp) direct which looks like this:

    Checked link: hxxp://domainname.com/

Type of redirect: 302 Moved Temporarily

    Redirected to: hxxp://domainname.com/?07287130

Can anyone explain this - should I still buy or is it suspect? And is the 301 redirect method still good for SEO and safe post penguin/panda?

    Thanks.

Please go for it. I heard people cheat with fake PR but, not with fake registration year. Yes, domain redirect still works. And it own't harm your site if you have only one 301 redirects for your site. Don't do multiple 301 redirects and get caught. Also, don't forget to host both domains in different IP address.

Its just $5 buy it soon. :beerglass
