    Heya,

I found something that gets around 1.2m searches a month and has low competition with a 0.48 epc....
Now my question is how should i rank my website fast when i create it and how to monetize it?
It is not a product i can sell but moreso some kind of "strategy/help" for a certain subject.
Would i be using adsense for this or affiliate stuff that are close related to it?
    Or maybe even ppd..?

But the most important thing is... how do i rank this fast? EMD? SEO? or just a viral script which might be usefull?
    Thanks in advance,

    DTjai

The low competition refers to adwords competition, not SEO competition.

Have a look on the first page of google for the search term that you are going after and check the backlink profiles of the sites and the age of the domains etc

Low competition in adwords can also indicate that it might have low competition SEO wise, since there are not a lot of advertisers competing for that keyword. It could also mean the keyword is not a buyer keyword.

Mostly when judging comp for SEO I would use the search command in Google - intitle:"my keyword" This will show you how many websites you are roughly competing with. Next thing to do is just look at the top 10 websites, see how much content they have, if they have good on page seo, how many backlinks they have, quality of backlinks. and so on.
