Was deep cleaning my house and found a decade old lenovo b450 in store room.

Its battery is dead but working fine with charger, intially i was hoping to see some bitcoins in it which i mined back in 2011, but then i realized all were stored in mtgox exchange and was gone overnight.

Just installed a 32 bit linux in it and its working fine, now torrenting 32 bit win 7 to install.

What good work i can give to this old boy except selling.

You cant do much with a 10-year-old laptop, but if you are interested in BH stuff and white hacking stuff, you can use it.

That is just hilarious.
You people are used to get rid of things when something new comes. That means you're from a developed country. Here, we still use laptops from 2008 and it works pretty fine. You're used to buy new generation of everything. Here, we're making the best of anything and even repair them many times before selling them. And here, another man's trash is really another man's treasure. We're so used to buy second handed that buying brand new is really considered a luxury that only the very rich can afford, especially in high-tech and electronic stuffs.
For example : A new laptop is so expensive here, like 20 times the minimum wage. But an old generation or a second hand imported with good specs only cost around 3 to 7 times the minimum wage.
I envy people like you sometimes. Assuming the worst just because it's an old generation device.
