Soi am always battling for domains...but this one has me stumped...wanted some thoughts from the peanut gallery. On 5+ valuation sites...the value based on the bots they are using is above $10k...on two or three of them it is above $20k. I for sure know that those mean nothing...it only matters what someone will pay for it. I think this auction is going to get expensive, but what is the cut off point for this one? Any ideas? For example, i am also bidding on elsa.com, which i have seen people valuate it over 100k and i actually have a client that is willing to pay $20k for it...so in this i can go to $19k and still walk away with a grand.

Anyone? are the valuations correct?

I would make sure the client puts up the 20k first. I just can't see shelling out 19k to make a grand off a client. I don't know your relationship with your client, If I did that, sure as hell, the client would change their mind right after I bought it..
 
of course i would get paid up front if that were the case...

i have no clue if these sites are any good for valuations, but they have been close to some of the sites i have sold before and way off on others. Thus the reason for my question.

Check check on my last post. Your valuation site domainindex undervalues sites completely! It says blackhatworld.com has a value of $8,570! It's worth way more and so are the sites you're looking at! Pay whatever it takes! Sell your car, sell your house, sell your soul!
 
Are you hoping some one comes in willing to pay over $20k for your LLLL.com? Lol

nah...i am not expecting the world for any of these domains...i was only asking if anyone had any input on the foryourself.com url. I have found a few "good" sites in the muck of expireddomains.com. Picked up newandcheap.com for $1.50 and have had two offers of over $1k each. So, is foryourself.com a diamond in the rough?
 
Not much into flipping sites...yet...i like to take solid urls...which obviously i dont know solid urls...and the end result is to eventually sell them...but at this point i look for high key word indexed sites and try my best to get lots of traffic to them. Right now my thing is the amazon commission sites. Thanks for your input everyone...i am still going to try and buy it.
as for the newandcheap.com...it is about to become an amazon site and no i am not lying, maybe i would get scammed, but i am not flipping it. @MEAT- i am at a loss then...i have read some of your posts and like everyone says...it only matters what someone will pay for it. I havent heard anyone say how they classify a solid site. Right now, i go by keywords...and for what i am doing it is working, but if i was looking at strictly the domain...there really is no way of knowing right?
 
I put bloggersville.com up on flippa...i thought it was a good url. Well, 8 people looked at it, 2 people were "interested"...one ended up bidding $20. This was my first realization that i am better at selling then picking domains. I was for sure that it was going to go for a few hundred at least based on some of the garbage domains on there. foryourself is going to be a winner...lol
