I'm sure this is a stupid question, but here it goes:

Let's say I were to set up a general page, such as an ebook review page, and had different pages for each ebook review. If I bought a keyword-rich domain name and just forwarded it to a review on the general site, would I still get the SEO benefits from the keyword-rich domain since it's only a forward?

Thanks for any help and sorry for the noob question.

You would have to send some back links to the domain for it to carry any weight though. Just the keyword in the domain won't do much. I believe you would have to get the domain name listed and ranked first then do a redirect later.
