Hi there. Just looking to build backlinks for a new site, and I was wondering if anyone had a list, or could point me to a list of popular forums (preferably ********) that allowed a link or links in signature with no minimum or low minimum post count. (eg SP Forums) Thanks for any info...

Thank you, but I've spent quite some time reading previous posts, and have yet to find a post that answers my specific question: Is there a list of popular ******** forums that allow links in signatures with zero posts, or a low post count?

Now I could spend hours Googling, signing up for forums and compiling my own list, but I figured it would be quicker and easier to check if one of the helpful folks at BHW had already compiled such a list and might be willing to share it. That's kind of the whole point of forums isn't it? Asking a specific question (after first trying the search function), and getting a helpful reply.

this place gets a ton of traffic...what was there a minute ago gets bumped to page 6 in a heartbeat.

Anyway, Bannor, I think this is was ccpro was talking about. Not sure about the signature rules but it's a starting point nonetheless.

Thanks Bob. Sifting through WizGizmo's stuff now. Much appreciated.

Well, I would start with this http://www.montysmegamarketing.com/do-follow-forums-the-mega-list if I were you.

Just make sure to post something relevant that makes sense for that forum. Look for forums that lend well to a niche you already have websites for and then link back to those sites. If your comments make sense and are helpful, they will usually stick. This will create long lasting backlinks and maybe drive some traffic too.

On a related note, when posting in a ******** forum, does continuing to post with your anchor-text linked signature attached give you additional link juice, or have you pretty much reaped all the benefit you're going to (ie gained a high PR backlink) once you've posted a single time?

i bellieve it helps to have as many posts as you can the more you have the more locatins people can link back to your site from
