Forum promotion help

I have have a whitehat forum
with **************** singnature

Pls help me how do i promote it

doing lot of link building

links are from
blog posts
blog comments
forum signature ( not permanent)
forum profiles
angela
bookmarking.

most of my backlinks are not yet indexed..
pinged them and rss submitted them


Now How do i get people participating in my forum.

I want to keep my forum clean.... genuine ..... and dont want anyone to catch blackhat promotions for my forum...

like paid posters....

forum has PR zero as of now
buildings aroud 50 backlinks a day
used xrummer blast for forum profile links...
using blog commenter and manual commenting...

more than 100 blogs have posted articles about my forum.... with 3+ backlinks from each post that is with anchor text...

I am not on the first page for most of the keywords. around 20

will be doing more keyword research and do some manual seo for each category..

I dont want ppl to come and post links in each posts... or come and post 1 or two one line posts


any advice?

I've only run one forum a few years ago, but to answer your question about getting people involved. If you start topics that are either controversial or very helpful, then you will get people asking questions or sharing their opinion.

Since you are ranked already, you might be getting traffic. So having these topic starters should draw people in.

You also might try having friends who are interested in the forum start some discussions too.

Why do people come to Forums? And Why would Google index your forum?
Answer: INFORMATION.

Nobody( humans or SEs) visit EMPTY forums. pretty simple, huh!

Now, how do you add info- valuable info- to your forums?

Either you do it yourself. OR Get posters to do it for you. Its not unethical to get people to add info to your forum.

Maybe just start solid threads and get posters to just engage and carry on the conversations. It adds info. Makes your forum look fresh and full. Updates the forum hence increase crawling.

i am already posted few posts daily
asking questions and answering them from other id
I also buy some forum posts occasionally....once in a while....
but some how i am not getting response ....

is there a way to send my forum information to people.... directly....
without being a spammer?

is there a way to reach targeted audience ?

i also used auto blog commenter to get bloggers to participate
and i got some from movie niche ... and health niche.... but got spammed with links and loads of links.... and i had to do do lot of house keeping....

those who didnt spammed posted couple of times and vanished...
