Hi, m building backlinks by registering on forum in my niche by adding website link in website url field and keywords links in signature.
I have a question about username on forum.

Which one is the best ?

    1. Registering with same name ( my website name) on all forums
    2. Registering with different name on all forums ?

    Thanks.

Different usernames provide no benefits beyond not leaving as obvious of a footprint. Google wouldn't crawl for this anyways however.

If your email address is to be displayed on your profile then yes. If not there's no way of Google seeing that information easily and associating it.

The question really is: Are you going to be spamming the shit out of the forums or are you going to be offering proper guru level posts / information under a professional name?

I don't believe this provides ranking benefit anymore.

M not spamming any forum. I am just creating profiles on forums in my niche where i can post content related to niche. Say 2 posts per forum for the backlinks.
And all the forums m registering are PR : 3 to PR: 7 and signature links are do- follow.

Why not if the links are do-follow and high pr 3 - 7?

Experience. I was using this technique for a long time but it simply doesn't do anything anymore, especially in bulk. In the same way that you scrape footprints, so does Google and they understand what pages are profile pages. As such, they don't give them any weight anymore, also 99% of the sites that allow you to place a link in the profile page will rel="nofollow" it which really stops juice flowing.

Laslt,y this type of thing has started hurting my sites even with tiered linkbuilding. You need to be careful now if you want a longterm site.

I'm not sure you're going to get much out of it to be honest. Sounds like you're trying to find a cheap way of getting high PR backlinks. You'll be wasting a lot of time most likely.

I would suggest you to use 2nd option.. Choosing different names than domain name, so that would not affect your site...As well, using signature will never make a keyword diversity...

There's no reason why having different names would be bad, however using the same name would leave a footprint (not that it really matters in this case).

    If in doubt, choose diversity.
(also: choose life, washing machines and a fucking big television) (and watch Trainspotting.)

I'd go with gorang on this one, why waste time on something that will probably make little diffrence. But if you're going for it anyway, pick diffrent names, you can never be too careful, guess.
