Does anyone know if there is such a tool that scans a list of forums and determines what platform each forum is build on?

I'll bump this tread. Is there any tools right now to determine it?

You could try Sick Platform Reader
    Code:

    Thanks Danny.

This would indeed work - but I find using the Sick interface feels like a week being hit over the head with a wet haddock.
Then go to this tab and check these three boxes

Then put your content in the box in this tab EXCEPT if...

Then put your coat on the lower peg unless you have a brother in senior school and your parents are going out to dinner as the guests of the senior boy in which case get your chitty signed by mister Bookbinder before lunch after doing your prep and only then put your coat on the upper peg before joining the other boys for matins. (Plagirised from Monty Python's "Meaning Of Life")

    I like

"Put your list in here, and press the start button"

But Sick likes to make you jump through some hoops to get the simplest things done.
Good idea though - and the only thing I can think of now. Job for Zenno i think

Yes, you're right. A better approach is of course a custom solution if you have a working knowledge of the platforms/footprints that you're targeting (or have funds for a coder).

I've built a custom platform sorter for vBulletin forums in Ubot before, but for a more generic sorter, Zenno would be better.
