Fortnite is trying to turn itself into Roblox essentially, and they have been building every within Unreal Engine. Apparently if you hit 1,000 consistent players you can make very good money every month. Anyone doing this?

I was just thinking the same thing this week. There is insane amounts of money to be earned in that space if you have the right ideas. I was starting to look for people who might could assist in making some of my ideas.

Yeah, I think it is a pretty big goldmine.
You would have to have deep knowledge of the game, culture, and design in order to succeed though.

Yes would be absolutely be interested. Best way would be to see successful games on Roblox that haven't been done on their platform and copy.

Not necessarily. Find good designer and copy.

How do you make money from this? Players buy something?

Stupid. As long as there's no direct cash flow through the islands, you will get paid peanuts.
They reserve 40% of all transactions in their store to this, so I have heard people are doing well from it.

I think the #1 map creator is making like a million a month just from his maps being played
I'm not really sure if this is correct, that's what i was reading

If I understood properly anybody can create an island map for Fortnite. More players play on these community-created maps more they earn, but where does the money come from, in-game purchases?

I'm curious to hear a simple explanation of this

No one know about how are the metrics if the payments? Im fully interested in this, but i dont know how much pay if you guess maybe 10 000k players active?

getting 10k players shouldn't be too difficult.

The money is set aside by whoever owns Fornite, and they set aside 40% of all their revenue for this.

If anyone can help me create these Islands, please PM me.

I can do marketing side, easy.

I could definitely help. Not sure how much. In order to get into the program you have to apply though and you have to meet requirements to do that.

Yes necessarily. If you ever have played videogames before like Roblox, you can tell which games were designed by someone who knows nothing about the game and just wants it to look nice, vs designs by people who actually play the game. There is a magical element that you need to bring to the table with design, and that only comes through game knowledge.

Exactly. There needs to be incentive to shop or gain items etc. play time alone is not profitable for Fort so they won’t pay u.

Okay so exactly like @Permat said - it’s the transactions that make the money not the play time.

No, the company sets aside their transactions for play time.
