I am new here so once again please forgive me if I have this posted in the wrong spot.

Basically I have 5 featured lenses on Squidoo. They seem to be getting a decent amount of traffic exclusively from Squidoo's search engine and topics section, however I am getting little to no Google/Bing search engine traffic. I do not know what to do about this as it seems I have everything SEO'd very well (to my knowledge anyway) and they do actually rank fairly high on Squidoo.

I am making this thread in hopes of possibly learning something new regarding SEO that I perhaps haven't looked into. If you would like to see my lens(es) I can PM one (or all) of them. I am not posting links here as I am not sure if they are allowed.

    Any help is welcomed!

Have you tried building some links to the lens'?

I actually have a blog which has separate posts for each lens. Unfortunately that doesn't get much traffic either. I am really hoping that someone here knows a good bit about ranking up higher on Squidoo, I think that would be step #1 to getting a higher rank on Google.

Step #1 to getting a higher ranking in Google is building more incoming links. Forget about ranking in Squidoo and and getting Squidoo traffic. As long as they don't "no-index" your lens you're ranking high enough and need to focus on Google.

Ok, so you mean like blog posts? Facebook, reddit, digg, stumbleupon etc. etc.? What do you suggest?
