I've come across some very good domains that I want to use as part of a PBN, but one of the areas I get stuck is when they registrars require ID to prove you are a natural person, or that you operate a business in that country or have a significant relationship with where the domain is held. For example, I tried to register an .ie (Ireland) domain, but I will need a passport scan or proof of business operations.

Does anyone have experience with faking documents like this? And if so, have you ever lost a domain (or had legal action taken against you) for bullshitting on the sign up?

I feel that it might be best to just avoid these domains, but quite honestly scraping good domains that are regular .com/net/orgs is getting more difficult by the day. It might be worth paying a little extra and going the extra mile for these types of domains.

Yeah, forging passports is a serious crime. I would not want to get involved with that in any way. Perhaps you could hire somebody in Ireland to register the domain in their name and rent it to you for a small fee?

Figures, it's not just passports but also utility bills, drivers licenses etc that can be used, but I suppose you get get yourself fucked up if you use a real credit card when its checkout time even if someone did manage to forge them. Eh oh well, I'll just have to stick auctions to get good domains now. I just wanted this particular domain cause the owner is Georgia Salpa and shes fucking sexy lmao.

Lol, I wouldn't say I was "scared", if he ever did try to take something to court I would also threaten with false advertising and maybe a report to the FTC. I just wanted advice before completely ignoring it.

As for this question, I am more curious than anything, there are some seriously good ass domains out there and I'm sure some blackhatters are going as far as making up false ID to get them. I won't bother now that I've looked into it, but there are still idiots out there selling these on facebook pbn groups thinking you can just register them like normal domains.
