    Hey,

I recently came along popup ads, which can force the browser (Chrome) into a none exitable fullscreen mode. I need to restart it to escape from it. Does anybody know how it works? It is really good for any campaigns because the visitor will be forced to take a look at your offer, or even to browser your site.

I have seen this and worked out how to do it BUT I will not be sharing because it is a favourite tactic of Tech Support/Malware Scammers.

Forcing a user to kill the browser with Task Manager is a douche move.

As I said to you in PM OP, it is pretty easy to reverse engineer how it works.

Its called browser locking , and its considered as malware and blocked by almost all av`s and browsers if not crypted correctly.

Would not advise to use as marketing tool.

I highly recommend you don't do this.

It's an internet way of holding people at gunpoint and asking them to take a look at your products.

Well, there are much worse ways to earn money from an ethical point of view which are well practiced at this forum. And what I think of is not considered as Malware. It isn't a javascript exploit. It is more like a website enters full screen, and the usual "Allow - Exit Fullscreen" notification is not displayed. I bet it works like the website acting as a video with some exotic format like .swf and the browser enters fullscreen without the alert.

I have seen this only at one single campaign, so this trick isn't very well known at all. It has nothing to do with javascript alerts, or something primitive like that. @Asif WILSON Khan Seems to know the url of this campaign and reverse engineered it, but he can't stand the idea that someone may earn money with it, so he chose to keep it for himself.

Dude quit whining, I explained why I wasn't going to share it and even though you offered, I have no intention of selling it.
Either work out how to do it yourself or give up.

Money is earned by creating value for people in their lives. Money is stolen by destroying value from people's lives. Which side do you really think wins in the end?

Please start thinking on a higher level than a criminal. Try thinking more from a business perspective on where you can create real value for people. No one wants your malware.
