I'm thinking about trying to acquire some clients and looking for some tips.
SEO for an online business or referrals for an off'line business, these are the most common ways.
Yeah, I'm trying to start up as a high quality content writer, I'm finding it hard to get clients, because they usually want samples and past order deals, but the problem is I am very new so I guess I just need to put in the time.
Try the irc, worked for me .
I called them up and asked them if they wanted to be of makings of the bumsoreness to their competitors online. They agreed when I tell them of my mad skillz in programming Zilog Z80 assembly.
Generally referrals, but since you are starting out I'd recommend networking locally. That'll get you your first few clients, teach you how to run some SEO compaigns, and what its like to have clients. After that, begin to branch out from those first few clients. Offer them an affiliate or finders fee commission.
If your work is good, they'll be happy to tell their friends about you.
