    Firefox portable!
    Download it, install the extension.
Copy it a bunch of times and you are set!

Was hunting the forums for a solution earlier today and didn't quite find one as easy as this.

    Enjoy :D

I think most of us know it, I am not sure if it's been shared here though. Anyway, this should be useful for some people, great share.

If I get this right, you can run imacros in parallel by just opening a new firefox window(NOT TABS but a firefox window).Anyways correct me if I am wrong :)

Can we run Firefox portable in different instances at the same time? I tried it but it says that another instance of FF is already running.

    Thanks.

    1. Download FF Portable
    2. Create 5 Folders numbered 1 to 5.
    3. COPY FF Portable into each folder
    4. Go to FirefoxPortable\Other\Source
    5. Open the FirefoxPortable.ini with a text editor such as Notepad or Notepad++
    6. Change the line AllowMultipleInstances=false to AllowMultipleInstances=true. Then save the changes.

That should work, let me know if it doesn't. There are tutorials on the web that can help too.

If you can't get it to work, then just use Sandboxie and run each instance in a separate sandbox.

I make multiple profiles with the "profile switcher" add on for FireFox and run imacros on the different profiles. Is that basically the same thing?

Copy the FirefoxPortable.ini file to the Main Firefox Portable Folder (Probably C:\Program Files\FirefoxPortable) and try again.
