Nothing against the Nationality it's the biz modul that's screwed them up. And Man U as well. They have gone from making £30M+ £40M+ a season profit to paying the owners debt at over £40M per annum interest alone. It's a travesty.

Liverpool are in serious trouble. IF they go into Admin Friday they will lose 9 points and be bottom of the Prem. They still will not go down but basically they are going to have to forget this season....And to think some people tipped them for trophies..LOL

They can't be any worse than the 2 jokers who currently own them. I beleive Hicks and Gillet are going to lose over £100M each this week...LOL and we think we had a hard time...:)

do you think it was a simple case of Gillet and Hicks not knowing how to run a european football club? or are they simply incompetent?

Im a huge Liverpool fan and have said that the Americans need to go, and although the new Americans who could be taking over have a good history of winning things, I simply cant see it helping Liverpool on the field :S

The whole Liverpool problem won't be solved this week. Remember even if New American owners were to come in and spend a bit of money they're going to really struggle to get into the top 4 and Europe for next year. You have to be playing in the Champions League to be on the big money.

Like it's being a while ago since Man City were taken over and loads of money was spent. It's only really now that their sorta seeing decent results and victories for all the money invested. It's going to take ages for Liverpool to get back to where they were in the 80's if ever.

It's business anyway... Americans or Scousers, it's the same if someone is good or bad owner/businessman.

The same shit will happen to Manchester United pretty soon, they have even more debts than Liverpool does.

I dont think Liverpool would be stupid enough to let it happen to them twice.

Yeah but in fairness whoever tipped Liverpool to win the premier league isn't the sharpest knife, even as a man u fan I put big money on chelsea at the start and it's lookin peachy already.

Seems that LFC won the court case against H&G in London. The moron's H&G are now taking the case to Texas. I think H&G are mental and deserve to be in an institution.

If it makes you feel any better, Hicks lost his American sports teams as well. The Texas Rangers are in the baseball playoffs under new ownership. When Hicks owned them last year, they were so broke they could barely afford baseballs!

Hicks was so leveraged with debt against all his assets that he was crushed during the recession. Liverpool isn't the only club to suffer under his reign of terror. They aren't the only club to be in trouble. Man U fans should be nervous. The Glazers use the same business model as Hicks. Yikes!

Lol that's too funny. I'm a Chelsea fan but I feel sorry for Liverpool. I don't know what is best for them but the situation is not going to be resolved soon enough. I can't imagine how I would feel if I was a Liverpool fan. I wish them the best.
