So I have a youtube partner account. My account got accepted a few months ago but I haven't really touched it or to make money out of it. Now I love playing a certain game and I like to upload tournament videos on that partner account and monetize it. But I am kinda wondering if I will be getting flagged for copyright content. So I did my research and look for YT channel that is already doing what I want to do, now I found someone. He already have a lot of video tournaments in his channel. I look in the discussion area of his YT channel and I found there what exactly I was looking.

There was someone there asking if he is not getting any copyright claim for uploading tournament videos and he answers back: "yes I have it on few videos but actually I'm in network partnership sooo" and that's it, I don't actually get what he means by that.

Does he mean that he is getting copyright claims and he is just ignoring it because he has a network partnership? Can anyone explain this to me if you know what he means?

And also I like to add the game company has no problem whatsoever in uploading their game replays to youtube. They even mention that players are free to monetize the video by youtube partner program or other similar networks. So no problem in using their content. I'm just confused on what that guy says and I want to understand what does he means by he has a network partnership.

Any insight would be helpful. Thanks

Wow. That looks like a great network. Almost want to apply. I'm new to all of this that's why I'm kinda confused, why do people sign up with this other networks? They can just be a YT partner as well right?

Yes, that sounds very good. But I have no idea if this is real or just a hype!

I would also like to know advantages of using this type of networks..

I am partnered with freedom they have special contracts which give you more money at the end than adsense.
They accept everyone even if your channel has no content.

Nice. Thanks for your input Vox0ut. I will try them if my YT partner account doesn't work.

I've never tried the Freedom network. Just make sure you get a good % like 80/20 contract if you can.

I think that I can clear all this up for you and provide you all with opportunities. Basically, no matter whether you have a YouTube partnership with a network - your video is subject to claims by a third party if either the Video OR Audio match any other video in the YouTube database. Additionally, having your video claimed does NOT give you a copyright strike. It just takes a percentage of the monetization earned from that video and goes to the original content creator.

How I can help. I am the head recruiter for a sub-network of Freedom. It is a great network, and was one of the first networks to join under Freedom. I am in close contact to the CEO of the network and can literally partner anyone I want. :D
This means that if you want to make money on YouTube and get benefits from these networks, you should pm me on here and I can get you set up, or add the CEO on skype: imagineytn and say you want a partnership. If you let him know ryanazorr123 sent you, he will pretty much automatically partner you with no requirements that need to be met :)
