So, I'm originally from the Middle East, and have a name that isn't so easy to pronounce.

In offline marketing, we have to deal with people face to face quite a bit.

For those of you who have been in offline marketing for a while, and have a difficult name like myself, do you go by different name that is easier to pronounce?

Indeed. The easiest way is to give yourself a "friend" name (if your name is James, then call yourself Jim) and pronounce your last name in an easy to remember way. If you must, come up with a business alias, because it makes people uncomfortable to not be able to readily pronounce and remember your name.

Several car dealers in my town do this.

Easy - come up with a nickname that is professional. Usually people will overlook that if you do not give it any attention.
