    Okay, so here's the deal...

A friend and I now own a network of 10 blogs. They all range from PR 1 ? 3.

The blogs are all hosted on different IP's (not just different c classes).

Everything's been great so far, but we've stumbled upon a problem: the outbound links.

As of now, all we have is 15 outbound links from all the blogs. Should we continue building links through these blogs? If so, for how long ? where goes the limit?

(we've got 10 blogs that we use for backlinking, how many outbound links is too many?)

I don't get the question... What do you mean by there only being 15 outbound links? What's the purpose of this network?

My network of 40 blogs lost its effectiveness after about 20 outbound links to the same site I was promoting, just different posts each time.

The purpose of this network is to build backlinks to our money sites.

We're not linking to the same website each and everytime. We only link out to one website once.

The key is to keep building links TO your network.

I've seen sites with 80+ OBL still effective, as long as you've got enough link juice pointing to your network you'll be able to keep utilizing it effectively.

Why would you not setup a link building blog to use the MU option of WP? Treat it like your own wordpress/blogspot etc. SEs still look at subdomains as being different sites.

1 - Juicy is a fact and it's like a full water glass that can be emptied; Use it wisely; And remember about your first grade math lessons: juicy came from blogs backlinks, so plot a set of backlinks in your mind about all of your blog network and recognize that some blogs have the same backlnks/juicy so the power of both combined will be equal the power of just one; Intersection, do you know what I mean?

    2 - Different keywords, different topics, different unique content, I don't see why it will doesn't work; Don't use spunned content, pay 5 bucks to someone write a decent article if you don't have time to;

3 - Don't be stupid to use only your blog network as ranking backlinks. When you don't see enough juicy/effectiveness from them, use it as tier #2 to index/boost your tier #1/buffer 2.0 sites. Recognize the pro/cons of each one of your blog sites and use it wisely (again, use your brain cells).

4 - And finally: if you're talking about blog networks topics pointing to the same url yes it will lost effectiveness, but if you're pointing to inner pages, the juicy never ends, just write good content like I told.

EDIT: NEVER, I say NEVER use all your blog network at once. Have patience and try to go live 1 article/blog per week see the marvelous happen; Sorry about some context errors, it's saturday night and I'm watching UFC Rio and drinking a beer, so I'm a little fuzzy ;)

Hope this clean your mind a bit.

We don't. It's a private network used for building links to our money sites and our sites only.

I see, that's an interesting standpoint...

I know they do. But getting links from different domains that are hosted on the same IP isn't really the way to go ? hence different IP's.

Thanks for your response. Didn't really give me an answer to my questions, but hey...

If they are on the same ip then they count as one link.

    Anyone else got any answers?

One guy said 80+ OBL, as long as you've got link juice pointing to your network.

Really? Then why are we all running around blasting out shit loads of sites on all the same web2.0 properties like blogspot, wordpress, livejournal etc if they only count as 1 link? LOL

You do so because the links don't really count as one link.

They still count, but are of less value. It's easy :)

We told you already, look up the PageRank algorithm so you can tell how its created and passed along.

The basic premise is that if you have enough link juice (PageRank) from the domain you can then pass that along to links.

The more links you add to a site, the more PageRank is divided and thus less distributed to the outgoing links.

There's no set number of external links that your blogs should not exceed.

The truth is, your blogs should be linking to quality, relevant sources BESIDES just to your money sites or to the sites you want to rank.

...You shouldn't be trying to hoard all the link juice by avoiding linking out.

External links to good authority sites will make your blogs look more natural and help them rank better.

Just be sure that they NEVER link out to spammy sites.

You're not going to get one as no one knows the answer other than google.
