Now it's 1 pm and I still havn't slept since last night! I just can't sleep because I'm so excited about a shopify store I'm building and this is not going good. I need sleep but I can't!
Go out.
Cycle or walk. Keep going further away from home, don't just walk around the neighborhood. Do this because you will go back when you start feeling tired, but if you're away from home you will still have to walk all the way back after you get tired.
Sleep like a baby.
Getting physically tired is a pretty good way to get some quality sleep.
Just go with it. Sometimes you can come up with good ideas then. Most weeks only have about six days for me the last month or so.
Though going asleep now, at 1-2pm, can be the worst if you are trying to regulate it to be more normal times, as waking up at 9pm is waking in no-mans-land.
Its common to every human to be excited while doing something interesting... but you badly need sleep now. Give your work a holiday, hang out with friends and booze a little. You will be good the next morning.
