Im sure more experienced members are well aware of this but its something I figured out how to do today and it really helped a Semi Newb like myself out.

You often see posts where members comment about which keywords they rank for, and what pages, ect. An easy way to find this out is to use Google Webmaster Tools.

After you have the verification completed (its easy) wait a few days....

Click on "your site on the web" then "Search Queries". This will show you every time you received organic traffic, what keyword search brought them to your page, and what page you are on in Google for that phrase.

I actually found out Im ranking for phrases I never even though of more than the ones I had in mind when building my site.

Now I can optimize my site for the Long tails that are working instead of working on ones that aren't.

Im sure this is pretty basic but alot of people might not know how, and I just wanted to be able to ad something to the forum/

I have analytics, but when I see what keywords brought people to my site I cant tell if its from yahoo or google, or what page Im on in the search for the keyword, (is there a way to do this?)
so it helped me to change around some of my keywords to focus on the ones that are working.
