So ya pressed the magic button and not only did you not get the rabbit, your deleted your root directory. Not going well, huh? Well it don't always. Everyday ass gets handed back to someone. Every so often it is you. You gots two choices, quit, and work a regular slave wage job, or re-dedicate yourself, study, pick one thing, and go.

This forum gets inundated with crybaby posts, and people who beg for help, offer to pay for help, bitch, moan, and complain. It is hard work this IM stuff.
Who told you differently? Did you really think the guy with the MLM landing page was on a beach somewhere? Chances are he works at Best Buy, and is just as hungry as you. This is a hard place, this earth. You want pie? Go after it.

Put away your fears and doubts and anxieties. The TRUTH is that the difference between the winners and not so winners is that one instant of clarity. That is when you decide if you are done or if you can go forward. The wall.

Another thing, you may not get rich. But if you can type, if you can discipline yourself to work very hard and type 10 or so articles per day you could make at the least a salary equal to a Target or a grocery store. A check that you could earn in your pajamas, and use towards tools and education. The TRUTH? You have to work. The rabbit is in the hat. But you got to use your hand, and he may bite the piss out of you. You may bleed and bitch at the rabbit, but ain't no wand coming to your rescue, no sir. The TRUTH? What you need to know about yourself is how many times are you willing to get bit to get that prize? Only you know. The TRUTH is internal. The TRUTH is waiting to be told.

for me its simply stop searching for the next magic formula, make a plan and stick to it. adjust as needed. there is no magic button, just like anything else, you get out what you put in.

Calm down buddy. I feel you. We all need to vent from time to time, but just ignore it. Spend more time focusing on yourself than others.

Also, there are plenty of newbies who are here to learn. You can tell the difference between a smart post and an ignorant post. Take time to answer a few of them, and who knows, karma may come back and wipe your ass for you.

It's not as easy as you think to discipline yourself. Well the majority of people can't anyway. There's so much crap out there that it just makes your head spin. It took me 2 years to actually become disciplined to do some serious work and bank hard, but we all have to begin somewhere. By helping others who come on here we reduce the number of ignorant people floating around. Remember when you were new? Remember when you last asked a question? It feels great to get an answer and learn something new, so lets pass that on and become successful.

P.S. Wrong Section, this needs to be moved to the lounge, you're taking up space.

for some reason everyone thinks that IM, unlike every other profession, can somehow be learned instantly and easily and doesn't require any actual skills or knowledge or experience, unlike every other profession out there.

eh, i guess we have the gurus to blame for this one. mislead a bunch of people just so they'll buy your shit, and you end up with a bunch of mislead crybabys clogging up everyone's favorite forum when the $77 ebook they bought didn't work but they still believe everything they read in the salesletter.

    what a wacky industry

I agree with him though... I mean, there are some posts where people are asking simple questions on a small piece of the pie which they could probably find in google if they looked hard enough, I know I'm guilty of this, but the forum is just getting overrun with these posts where people are moaning about their bad luck.

Everyday I see threads where people make a big ordeal about how they are giving up, how they really need the money, they don't know what to do, their sites get bumped down ect. I mean quite honestly, I don't think there is really anybody here who really cares if you're giving up or what your financial situation is. Sure, we'll offer you advice, but if you quit, we'll be back back at it tomorrow without a second thought as to what you're doing.

I liked BHW back when I joined a bit more because there were more helpful posts as opposed to these complaint threads. Maybe I just need to get into that subscription section.

I know IM is hard myself, but I'm only a few months into it and have been writing articles more than marketing. Trying to change that to go where the real money is long-term. Nonetheless, I've spent hours upon hours reading information. And because everything is changes, it's hard to find the good stuff. I don't have a IM "go to person" that knows all and they might not share anyway given the competitive nature of the industry.

I'm just saying I've spent hours going around in circles and not finding an answer to a question. It's something I'm doing wrong, obviously. Then I spend a few more hours in circles trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Slowly, I get things that work.

When the odds of getting decent information here are better than Google, it's not surprising that people are coming here. Now whining is a bit much, but people get desperate. Some people are probably in IM due to social anxiety, for instance, and are scared to death of failing - or some other unusual reason. It does get frustrating, though.

I mean I searched Google for "lists of ****************" social networking sites. I can type "X is ****************" and "X is nofollow" and get credible-appearing results for both of them. I mean that search was giving me two year old postings near the top of the serps. What use is that to me? Now I've got a Google PR addon for Firefox, but I've also heard some sites index only some pages and it's not 100% reliable. I ended up finding something useful and submitted some stuff. We'll see if it works out.

I've been online too much in my life to be easily duped and tricked by false info, but it still takes awhile sometimes as credibility with regard to IM techniques is hard to verify sometimes (thus far).

Didn't mean to whine though I suppose I did a bit. I'm just saying it's understandable that people get frustrated. I mean I'm a fairly calm, reflective person who is "that guy" not freaking out when everyone else is. But it's still quite frustrating sometimes.

I've turned to graphing my minor profit increases in excel to validate my efforts. So far the variety of graph options is keeping me sane. I do forget my high school math though. If I made $2, $2.50, then $2.25 over the course of three days, how to I estimate my long-term earnings. Is it an increase of $0.25 over three days? I thought exponents were involved, but I can't remember. Random question that isn't that important. I just have a lot of fluctuation in my earnings would like to be able to see more consistently if I'm going up. Aside from my graph, which I suppose makes it clear.

Can someone show me an ebook that explains this which I requested
    Code:
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/download-requests/212451-req-guide-explaining-confusions-jargons-emails-host-accounts.html
Even if someone comes up with a paid ebook costing even 100$ I will buy that provided that explains such basic stuffs. But I will never pay for rip off IM products which all explains some basic stuffs. Also not even 1 Ebook which I read explained how to tweak, design and what kind of landing pages to make. This part is missing from almost all the ebooks that are shared here.

Its a matter of what you believe, working on it consistently and being patient.

I was once a noob, bought some ebooks and read it. As I learn I started to realize that those books were a bunch of crap but as i look back it was the tool that made me believe that i can, that it is possible and made me decide to work and move forward with IM.

In the past, i never believe in luck. it's was never been in my vocabulary. But sometimes you gotta believe.

1% of luck and 99% of passion, work, belief and learning will definitely give you result. Experience will give you the edge and knowledge not some crappy books.

The truth is this is a never ending cycle, we are on technology based business. Every tick of the clock the market evolve, new niche created, new method released and new sites were born. We need to catch up or we might end up like the others who failed to know the truth.

@OP: Calm down man. Not everyone will be a successful IMer, and seeing that the others are making $10'000 makes them jealous (makes me too), and start bitching and whining.

Even if today you are pro, you were once a beginner (everyone was). No need to be so harsh on them, it's just internet FGS! If you don't like those threads, avoid them!

As long as someone doesn't ask for make money methods with a one liner first post, i will help as much as i can. This is why we are a community. Everyone had a first day in IM don't forget. And whining is something i respect because to me, it proves that he worked his *ss off first, before asking for help.

We are not leechers here. Whoever is confused or getting no results are more than welcome to ask for help.

P.S: Maybe it would be better if you have opened this thread in BHW Lounge section, instead of here since there are already a gazillion threads about this very same subject.

You're no different man, you're complaining uselessly.

I've seldom seen people beg for help here (not to mention a couple of cases, but seriously, a "complaint" thread for it?), unless you consider asking for help with a "please" in the end begging. Offering to pay for them is no bad either imo. Its just that them guys sometime post in the wrong section instead of the Hire a Freelancer one.

There are bitchers and haters everywhere (in real life too), so you got to learn living with it.

You have some pretty good points in your post though.

IM is not an easy industry to get into . It takes time and effort and a big learning curve.
