Facebook is making sure that any page that has more than 60k people in it, if it isn't linked to a website, it will go down.

This way, large brands are protecting their extremlly large pages from getting banned.

What you need is to put a likebox on website and give username to the page that is similar to the sites name.

So if your site is example . co

Your FanPage could be facebook . co / example.co or facebook . co / example

I heared this from people who are doing white hat advertising on Facebook, and they own some extremly large pages with over 80k people, and secured them with website that only has blank page and likebox.

Hope this helps ppl around here, who constantly get banned for extremely large pages.

And use pages smart. It can be constant stream of spam and traffic for your website.

Use brains, pages rule.

Thanks, My Halo Reach page is going down because of this.

Good thing I saw this!!!! I'll have to be sure to do this before mine get to big.

Not true. I had my fan page linked to a webpage with a like box and it lost its publishing rights. Sorry this does not work Lord.

This method does not work any more as it once did. It worked for a while adding Fan widget to your website with a similar name as your page. Now it does not seem to work Facebook is catching on to it.

Basically if you own a big page and it gets over 10k user base you need to get it verified or they will automatically block the feed.

yep, now you need to verify it, once it goes over 10 000, but it's not necessity for all the pages, which is strange.

I've seen some of my small pages marked as community pages, without even hitting 1000, because they had names of the places for instance...

Verification is the only method now to ensure the page. Starting a page now is liek starting a website...

what does verification consist of? is a .info website of same page name as fan page enough?

link or no link facebook will readily delete or block pub rights to pages it doesn't like

Dude this method doesn't work. They will delete your page anyway
