I completed a custom automation script, running through Chrome browser. It makes comments & likes some photos. I will use it on my 100 Instagram accounts (which I will expand to 200 accounts soon)

My goal is for the script to do 3000 comments rotating amongst all 100 accounts.

For $15-$25 per month:
- Whats the best/most reliable kind of proxy I can get to carry out this task?
- If I search for a less known proxy service, what are some specs I should look for?

Socks proxy? residential/private proxy? Mobile proxy? (Im assuming mobile is too expensive for my budget)

I would prefer service that has proxies in New York area.

For my budget, can I find a proxy service that’s NOT a datacenter?

im trying to find cheap and working proxies for ig too. If you can find, can you tag me too? :)

I could even increase the budget to $40 or mayyybe $50 a month, if I could just get some guidance.

You want to run 200 accounts on $25-$50 worth of proxies? I haven't seen anything that cheap, $1 per account is really cheap and that'd put you at $200/month... and that's not even a mobile proxy. Do your research and check out the marketplace here, but i think your expectations are pretty far out of line for what you want to pay.

Ok Thank you! Even that was helpful.

Maybe I will just focus on the 100 accounts right now. & try to push for 2 accounts per proxy, then that might work. Then costs would be $50 per month.
I could even accomplish my goal wit 50 accounts. And shoot for way less comments.

Do you want 15$ - 20$ worth of proxy for 100 accounts? Dude that won't be safe, if your budget is small then get start with fewer accounts and as you make progress then you expand the accounts.

You can find various proxy providers in the marketplace.

I would suggest you to first read some of the journeys regarding automation here and then get started because it will help you a lot.

GOOD LUCK :)

1. The most reliable kind of proxies are dedicated ones for Instagram. You need proxy packages for Instagram - there are providers on the marketplace offering them
2. As specs when looking for providers, check to see if they have (again) proxy packages for Instagram.
3. If you find a new provider and you buy from him for the first time, do not buy all your proxies at once. Get a small package, test their proxies and then buy the rest.

1. Mobile proxies are HTTP proxies - this is the protocol you use, it's just that their IP changes.
2. SOCKS proxies? Depends if your proxy tool accepts Socks protocols.
3. Most residential or datacenter proxies for social media are HTTP ones.
4. Most providers have servers around NYC and Eastern coast.

No. Residential are quite expensive because you get access to their whole IP pool.

And for datacenter proxies, if you get private dedicated ones below $1 per IP - be careful, as they might sell you shared and advertise them as private.

Ok thanks guys! Just you telling me my budget is too low is very helpful! I’m going to increase my budget to $50 per month.

Honestly, you read so many different posts & combinations of methods, you kind of get confused when figuring out what’s possible for you.

I purchased 10 proxies from InstantProxies weeks ago. They were a dollar each. They say theyre "private" proxies, but doesnt that mean Residential? I’m assuming these are actually shared proxies?

I logged in 5 accounts per server. And did one round of comments and everything was fine. The next round I got halfway done & then an account got a Phone number verification request. Out of fear I stopped the script.

Think I get away with downgrading to 3 accounts per server? Or should I not waste my time and just go with 1 per server.

There is no way that you can avoid PV if you do comments. This is the most triggering action for EV/PV/BAN . Lots of IG pro around this forum don't recommend comments. Maybe you can try comments with mobile proxies, but it's still risky. Also the accounts are old/new warmed/not warmed. That is something that IG looks for. Source of accounts, how they were created, are new or old, have bios/avatars or not etc.

Good for you but I still don't recommend it. Maybe, in the long run, the accounts are more exposed to ban. Good luck with farming though!

You can try luminati residential IP address.
