    Hello BHW:

A month ago I bought Twitter FollowLiker, the settings are quite easy to understand, so in this message I don't pretend to ask you what your numerical settings are, Instead I want to ask some advices why I'm having some strange results, I hope some of you can help me. Below I'll explain my approach:
Note: Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with FollowLiker, is an awesome tool.

1.- Find at least 20 influencers in my niche or similar/complementary niches which have many twitter fans.
2.- Follow their followers using "User's Followers" as Query Type in FollowLiker. So I have 20 queries in my table.
3.- Check "Ignore account without picture profile" to avoid bots accounts.

My FL settings are very conservative because my twitter account is fresh, until now I have 80 followers. 15 of them looks like real people, but from the other 65 many of them are business accounts or bloggers, some of them are related with my niche(competitors) and others are non-related. From the 15 people, 5 are not in my "target" public. So, at the end only 10 are valuable followers.

Obviously FollowLiker is not the problem, the problem are my influencers. Looking deeply those 20 influencers twitter accounts I could divide them in 2 groups:

    • Group A: Influencer with huge quantity of followers but many of those follower are business or people promoting their stores or blogs or services, some related with the niche but many others non-related. In my opinion those accounts are not valuable, because won't generate quality traffic.

    • Group B: Influencer with huge quantity of followers but many of them without profile picture (maybe bots) or people who have very few tweets and a lot of following/follower(which is also strange for me).

Those influencers have thousands (30k the least) and even millions of followers. I guess inside of all that garbage followers it should be a lot of real people who are truly interested in the niche.

    • Is this scheme normal on Twitter? Is normal to have that amount of garbage followers?
    • I'm starting to thinking is better to choose 2-3 small/medium influencer instead of 20 big ones. What do you think? I'm worried, What if small influencers also have garbage?
    • What would you do in my situation to correct this garbage follower issue?
    • I think using "User's Followers" as query type seems to be the best choice for Twitter, Am I right? What other query type would you choose?
