I had that choice at 16. My dad has his own business, he was a building contractor. When I look back, in many ways I wish I had left school at 16 and joined him. Learning those skills would have been very beneficial a few years later. One of the paths I regret not taking.

If the family business is earning well then most of them follow it.
I choose something different but my brothers choose the family business.

Not only business sometimes they follow jobs as well.
