Hello BlackHatWorld member, I'd like to personally thank you for clicking on my thread. It means a lot to me to know that someone cares enough to come support a fellow member. As you can see, this is my first post on BlackHatWorld but certainly not my first time on this site. Over the past couple of summers I have periodically glanced through threads on this site in hope to find some quick and/or easy ways to make money online. I never really took the action to perform any of these methods, and when I have, the method doesn't seem for me or that I lack the requirements to try these methods. This summer I am back once again and I have more determination than ever.
Here's a little bit about myself: My name is Jack P. and I'm 20 years old. I am attending college as an Accounting major and hope to pursue a career as a Certified Public Accountant in Long Island, NY. A couple of my hobbies are DJ'ing (just starting out) and playing video games. I enjoy hanging out with friends, watching movies, and listening to music -- typical college kid stuff. I write a personal blog where I write about what I do everyday so I do have somewhat decent writing skills. I am currently unemployed, have $3 on my Debit card, and only a few hundred dollars in my wallet.
I'm in a very good position because my brother is a right hand man for an Affiliate marketing website. However, he's usually very busy and doesn't have much time to speak with me. My brother created a website called trendingstory a while back and this summer handed it off to me. The main concept is to write brief paragraphs on a trending story, usually about a celebrity, and then promote the articles so people come to the site and click on Google Adsense advertisements in order to make some revenue. The problem is that I I sometimes get bored with writing these types of articles and have little to no knowledge of SEO. I attempted to read a few guides on SEO but didn't get too into them since words on a page can be complicated to me at times. I'm thinking that if I want/NEED to learn SEO, I should try to find a video course on the matter, if anything of the sort exists. I only know that I've made 76 cents on this method so far, and I'd like to do something on the side to make some money and with that money, I can build up on this method.
I have many methods that I've found on this forum in my head right now. One that I've successfully created is a Fiverr gig where I said that I would do some outsourcing: I will manually grab 250 relevant images from (popular) image sites for $5. The whole concept is to have a person tell me what type of images they're looking for and I'll go to Pinterest, Instagram, etc. and gather up 250 high-quality images for the person. The gig was made yesterday and is currently pending review because I changed some tags earlier today. I have no idea if I'm being a cheapskate for only grabbing 50 images for $1 or if someone would be interested, or even be able to find my gig in the Online Marketing --> Other section. My friend who is well into the marketing game, but also a busy person, suggested I go to marketing forums and offer the service there as well, and I plan on doing just that.
I also have the idea to create a Tumblr with NSFW images and place the appropriate affiliate ads on the page. I also thought about trying to create a collaboration with someone who is more knowledgable than I and is looking for an apprentice, whether it be to work alongside the person or to do mundane tasks and get paid for that.
As you can see, I have little knowledge of the whole Online Marketing game, but I want to jump into it as hard as I can with the knowledge that I do have. My ideal way to make money would be to put in the hard work now, have my work be successful, and watch it pay off on autopilot. If I can make $2,000 in three months time that would make my year. If not, I can at least say I tried. Thank you very much for reading the introduction to my journey and I will be giving updates as they come. I will definitely be checking out everyone else's journeys and cheering them on . If you have any advice you'd like to give me, I'd be very grateful and open to what you have to say. I can also be reached on Skype if you'd like to talk. My username is himrox203.
