Follow me and see if I reach my goal of $500/day

Hey guys, I decided to create one of those threads like everyone else does around here.

My goal is to make $500/day from CPA Marketing.

I'm making $0 right now.

I'm going to start on POF ads soon.

I spent an hour creating a landing page yesterday.

I'll keep you guys updated and post my logs and problems I encounter. It would be great if you guys can post feedback when I have problems.

I promise to release my system for free once I reach my goal to everyone who helps me along the way or writes on this thread.

Post #2 - Reading

I spend a lot of my time reading random things (and no action ;P)
This is what I learned that I haven't learned before and I'll teach it to you:

Content niche targeted sites.
-High Page/Visit
-High Organic Traffic
-Idea doesn't have to be Targeted.
-Run 1 day PPC campaign to test number of traffic
(Google keyword tool is unreliable)
Keyword needs to be set to phrase match.
Impressions will tell how many searches are made for that keyword.

First 100-150 words: We empathize with the visitor and describe their problems and build a connection by saying how we were in a similar situation to them a few weeks/months ago. We mention our keyword once in the first sentence if possible.
- 150-250 words: This is the point where we start to hit some of those emotional triggers mentioned in the previous chapter. Talk about how it felt to have problem XXX. Mention the keyword once if you can.
- 150-250 words: Talk about how you solved your problem after trying so many things. Mention your product here with your cloaked affiliate link. Talk about how it felt to finally get rid of your problem and how your life has changed for the better.

Don't use words like ‘you' or ‘your'. Don't tell them how their life will change. That's blatant selling and it is tough to pull off.

Product Review

First 10-50 words: Why you sought out the product?


- 50-100 words: How did you hear about the product? Socially proof the product here. Tell them your friends recommended it and you saw excellent reviews on amazon etc. Tell them where you bought it (slip in your affiliate link).
- 50-100 words: Talk about how excited you were when you first got it through the post. Tell them how the delivery was excellent. If the product has a guarantee, mention it as a no risk purchase for yourself.
- 100-150 words: Tell them about your experience while using the product. Was it difficult to use? How much time did it take every day?
- 100-200 words: Talk about your results and how you were surprised. If they have any special offers, mention those. Find 1 fault to make the whole thing look real. Make the fault arbitrary and meaningless. Slip in 1 more affiliate link towards the end.

Change front page to static page.

Pingoat.net is used for pinging.

Digg.com and Mixx.com is for social bookmarking.
Sites get indexed in less than 24 hours.

- http://pressexposure.com/

Free Blog Links
You may be thinking "why would someone add a link to my site?" Simple, we bribe them with free content.
Go to Google and search for blogs in your niche. Type "your market blog" and contact a few of the blog owners and offer them an article written by you.
The best way I have found is to have an article written beforehand and send them your article in your offer email. Make sure you tell them that this article is unique and only available to them if they chose to use it.

BLOG COMMENTING
Page 56 of 64

Find blogs in your niche and see if they have comments open. Start contributing to the comments section and use your keyword as the name.
Don't put any links in your actual comments.
I have also experimented with commenting on blogs that have nothing to do with my niche and honestly, I don't see any difference in results compared to commenting on my niche related blogs. Feel free to comment on blogs completely unrelated to your niche.

POF is plenty of fish.

Their clicks are cheaper than facebook and you can target ads by a variety of options.

Spent $0.05. And made $2.20. INSANE

I'm doing social advertising, which I don't want to reveal yet since it's very small. But I'm getting metrics on the demographics of WHO is seeing my ads. And WHO is clicking.
I'm targeting all males. I've spent 2 hours creating a landing page with several pictures of different aged girls. And a link to my dating site affiliate link.

This is my first update.

I bid a $0.25 CPM. My CTR is 0.503% (when the average is only 0.15% and my friend's is 0.10%). I received 240 impressions. I spent $0.05! I received one click!

Bid: $0.25 CPM
CTR: 0.503%
Impressions: 240
Cost: $0.05
Clicks: 1
Earnings: $2.50
ROI: 4900% Return on Investment

I made $2.50 payout.
I'm noticing the following metrics:
45% are aged 20-29
20% are 40-49

The conversion came from the 40-49 group.

With more information I'll know which age group I will want to target.

So far doing good. Step towards Goal: 2/100 - Growing and Getting Better!

This is what I estimate
CPM Bid
0.4 - 1000
4 10,000
$40 - 100,000 - Need at least 18 leads to break even

100,000*0.50% = 500 clicks * (payout of $2.20) = over $1k (too high estimate)

If I have at least a 0.03% conversion rate, I will make back my $40 spend.

Let's see what happens.
