Title's bullshit. You can probably make the $100/day though. Check this out...

I'm selling a domain on Flippa.

I got an email via private message which got forwarded to my private account. Here it is:

How much you want to bet I get a CPA link to a background check?
And using a female name to promote compassion...

    Classic.

The only problem is that people who sell on flippa usually have some idea about CPA.

That's nothing new. Talked to one of my AMs this morning about how easy they find and ban people who do that. :p The leads don't convert very well.

This is one of the methods that was ripped from Wiredmom's thread, that some thieving dipshit scraped from here and tried to peddle to the DP imbeciles.

    Exactly.

It is like BHW stealing newbies ideas, decreasing post count, avoiding the chances to get reputation AND, worst of all, Not giving the OP access to the Jr Vip area where their posts now reside.

    Simply disgusting.

That is why I don't share anything anymore. And many others are doing the same. Kind of DP style.

(am I going to be banned? ooohhhh...)

As a regular seller at Flippa I can confirm that people have been doing this A LOT during the last few weeks. While I have no problem what so ever with messages that are similar to the one posted above (I, and the majority of others, simply ignore them and report them to Flippa - luckily they ban accounts extremely quickly), a group of smartpants have taken this one step further and are actually BIDDING ON AUCTIONS AND WINNING THEM, before they pull this stunt.

In their brain-for-a-peanut they assume that this way, sellers are more desperate as they choose either between filling the offer or getting their auction ruined - perhaps there are morons among Flippa sellers who think like this on, but it's most definitely not the majority.

By the way, the sole reason why I post this "method" publicly over here is that I WANT those hundreds of knuckleheads to start doing this, hopefully on daily basis, as this is probably the only way to draw Flippa's attention to the problem and have them do something against it.

I don't personally don't give monkey's about it if it gets widely used as I've adjusted my listings in a way that this scam doesn't affect them (yes, scam, not a "blackhat technique" as your actions literally cost the seller shit loads of time AND money), but taking those precautions sure as hell costs me money so PLEASE, do start using this method and do it to its very maximum - so that Flippa would at last integrate necessary security measures that allow them to get rid of jokers like this.
