ive been browsing Flippa latly and ive seen tons of service selliing websites fresh going for $xxx-$xxxx , they all claim that they got $xxxx in revenue within 3 days of opening. They can be lies because there are tons of these being sold daily. My question is why would someone sell such a website and more importantly how do they get these LEGIT sales, with proof pics and good flippa account in good standings. How is all this possible.

Any input would be appricated and extremely helpful to this community

Most of those listed if they are legit, are results of pre-launch hype. The rest are photoshopped & faked.

If you want a short answer then "dont fall for those type of sites"

Who knows how many of those are "actually" being sold because of shill bidding. And don't fall for feedback either (especially if the guy is selling same type of site again and again).

For example - If I am doing shill bidding and in the end no one bids, its my second account which is the winner. I can easily give positive feedback then and list another site. Isnt it ?

yes that sounds right, im not buuying them im just wondering how these people do it because i suspected it was fake, and yea there being sold over and over again with the same sales pitch.

It just creates unfair competetion for legit sites

Take what you see on Flippa for a grain of salt. I've bought $x,xxx sites that didn't turn out so well. Gotta be careful but there are gems once in a while.

Stay away from flippa. I lucked out and bought a site in which I got a ROI in one month's time. I recently bought another and it is basically worthless. He basically sold me the site and told me he got all his traffic from MSN Adcenter and gave me his keyword list. I set up an adcenter account with his exact keyword list. I never made a dime. Luckily I only payed $350 for the site which is basically throw away money for me. Stay away from flippa, if you actually have cash to spend, find a reputable site broker and go through them. However, to buy a site that brings in about 3k a month, you're probably looking at spending at 30k.

Sometimes seller just bid their own list by partner/clone member for reaching the high bidder, then if fail or no more high bidder they dispute partners/clone member so don't have to paid for last bid.

And a lot of sites like the social media reseller stuff sites are just cloned. they are just buying some trash domain names, adding their wordpress theme with content from 20 other sites and then write a salespitch that you can earn lots of money, $2000 would be easily possible. tl;dr: flippa is mainly trash.
