    Hello BHW.
11 days ago, i listed my site on flippa, and the listing is ending in the next 17 hours, and i just found out that Escrow does not accept my country!
And I don't want to use PP either to collect all the funds. It is going to be about $2k +

I sent Meathead a PM, but got no reply :D Perhaps he is busy.

    Here is what I need.
    1. I need a very trusted BHW member that can receive the funds via Escrow and then send it to me via Wire transfer or Western Transfer.
    2. You will receive 5% of the money, which is about $100+.

    Is this real?
Yes, if you want, i will give you access to the site and its cpanel login details, i will give you the contact of a fiver seller who will transfer the site to the new owner. And after you have confirm everything. I guess the new owner of the site will confirm it as well before the funds will be released on Escrow?

Waiting for your replies, and if you have any question, please ask them here or send me a PM.
Mod: If this is a wrong place to post this, please move it. Thank you!

I use flippa all the time with escrow and paypal and have no issues. Why would you not use paypal? 2k is right on the line where I decide escrow or not but is this your first sale? What did you use for past auctions? I
m assuming it's the pillow website?

I just checked out your auction and since this is your fist one I can't help but if you get a few sales under your belt and need help later on I'd be more incline to lend a hand. My suggestion would be get a USA Virtual office address with a USA VPN. Then I would change my information up on flippa to reflect that you were from the USA. Other then that you should have no problems with paypal. Even that being said your buyers will probably have better feedback then you and you can sleep peacefully.

Too bad you chose to buy only the garbage at flippa @VolcanoMan. It will help you in future not to go for garbage right here on bhw and flippa and everywhere!
Edit: After going through your posts, i see you post negative and unrelated comments on threads. Welcome to bhw.

It may not be high to you, but it is pretty high for me :) I don't want to sell my legit site making decent money monthly from amazon and got burn after the transaction.

I'm much too paranoid to use PayPal to receive anything higher than $1000, unless I'm selling a product using PayPal's selling tools.

How long does it take to set up Escrow? Do you need ID, etc?

Which Escrow, normal or domain version? Also, the fees around $100 for the domain version.

I really don't know the difference between 'normal' and 'domain' version. What I want to do is to use the service to sell my website via flippa. After the successful transaction of the site between me, (the seller) and the buyer, Escrow will release funds for withdrawal? That is all I know.

Paypal is fine to use when selling domains. Everyone is afraid of charge backs and that's why they say don't do it. However as stated I have been buying and selling sites for years and use both escrow and paypal. If your only option is paypal then that settles it. As far as buy and selling goes you are the one they are worried about and please take kindly to this.

    You're
    1. First Auction Ever
    2. Account less then a year old
    3. Your Home Country is one that is viewed as sketchy

You have a lot going against you but yet you did right and the auction looks solid. So here is how you protect yourself when using paypal.

    1. Always right As-is auction (So if reviewed for a charge back you're in the clear) and state that the website will be transferred to your SAME hosting provider. (This guarantees a transfer and is easy in disputes for you to just ask the hosting company for transfer details)

    2. Force buyers to contact you before bidding if feedback is low

    3. You put in your auctions that payment is due with 5 business days (they normally will pay within 24) but then you say that you have 3 days to transfer the site to them and information. (Have your database and files ready for transfer)

    4. Setup a TOS and have them sign it before buying (Put that in the auction "Winner is required to sign TOS"

All you're doing is racking up a paper trail so in the RARE event you get a charge back you can provide documentation that it is indeed a fair deal.

You can use bankwire if as a method as well should you really need to secure the cash.
